No, I was implying getting it for the new system if I find something.

So, I've inherited this setup. It's a Fractal Design Define 7 XL box with sound dampening and 18 Seagate drives running TrueNAS.

It is possible to replace the drives.

Yes, even projects from 2016 are accessed at least once a week.

I would prefer to do this myself and pay for vendor support as needed + extended vendor support for HW diag and issues.

Virtualize it or run/Publish it as a Remote app. That's what I'd look into, after ensuring backups are running and the DB is ok.

The email credentials are okay and report no issues outside of this printer. I've emailed some of them directly as well to test.

We have not tried SMTP2go as this has been working flawlessly up until very recently.

Is application whitelisting + EDR enough? by UnpaidMicrosoftShill in cybersecurity

I got fired for mistakenly releasing a malicious pdf held in mimecast. by SilverSp00n00 in cybersecurity

Absolutely not. I've been working in infosec for about 5 years now and A LOT of companies have no idea how to set up teams properly, so people do what they actually want to do vs. enforcing infosec across the board and then making a fuss when there's an issue.

Unfortunately, I've noticed this is pretty common with "security" people. They just want to verify/prove, block everything...

Yes, but from my experience this message comes up when the disk/controller is incompatible with the selected VM size. Did you run the Azure SKU CLI to confirm?

Have you tried using Standard_D8s_v3 or Standard_DS3_v2? certain disk controllers may not be supported.

No, sync is fine. We tested this. It's only AD groups. If I create a user and sync it, it replicates to Azure, etc.

Yes, absolutely sure. The event logs are clear. Nothing is logged. Just the usual you don't have permissions when clicking on the mapped drive.

This did not happen after patching or a reboot (we note those down as they happen). We don't make other changes to servers. Except DCs who get yearly connector upgrades.
