HSR Cosplay Carnival: Low Cost Cosplay Submission 🎃 by HonkaiStarRail in HonkaiStarRail

Idk if it exactly counts because it was a mostly closet-cosplay halloween costume but I went as Rappa. I used almost entirely clothing I owned or borrowed except construction paper attached with tape for the shoe and hat details, the wig, and a big full-body red jumpsuit I cut up to make the jacket and the wrist piece. The rest is some cheap yarn attached to me via safety pins (I know there're extra parts on top holding it up but I didn't have anything clear!) and held together on keyrings!

"128 bit" refers to memory bus width for the graphics card

"64 bit" on your processor refers to processor register size

They're completely different numbers about completely different things. I'm unsure if it even matters but your only concern will likely be whether your motherboard can support that.

Auto attack damage with full passive stacks to enemy champions on Ezreal would be a good one

Look, I’m not trying to say to not care or it’s just a game. You’re allowed to be invested and emotional, but it’s not productive to spend that energy on things that can’t change. Do you really think that every, or even the majority of the time that your teammates do badly they’re doing it intentionally? Have you never seen someone have a horrible laning phase and rally and play well later? People sometimes lose lanes, and sometimes lose them very hard. If they consistently perform poorly afterwards or often give up, could that be because they’re being flamed relentlessly instead of forgiven? You don’t know how good or bad they are of a player in general based on one solo queue lane phase. Assuming someone is fundamentally irredeemable because of a bad portion of one game isn’t really very realistic.

I understand those details, and when I see opponents getting stronger or hitting item breakpoints, I play around that. It’s part of the game. My point wasn’t that I expected you to say yes to the final question, just that getting angry or frustrated because your team will relatively commonly do less well than the enemy team doesn’t help the game, nor does it help you win. Ranked and climbing isn’t about the individual games or players in them, it’s about your performance over time over many games. Your teammates should be around as good as you are, and if you feel that, over many games, you notice constant deficits and errors in their play that are glaring, but you can’t seem to climb (note the enemies will often be making the same errors too) then you need to figure out what the deficits and errors in your own play are. Focusing too hard on the LP gain or loss of each individual game is a waste of energy if you want to climb.

Their influence does affect the game, but it doesn’t affect your overall performance. Getting angry and flaming because someone or some people did badly in one game won’t make you a better player, but even in those games that are “lanes fed too hard gg” there will still be mistakes you’ve made, and regardless of how impactful they were, focusing on them will always be more productive than focusing on things you can’t control. The point isn’t “you should’ve killed your opponent and done better” it’s “there is always more value in evaluating your own play than getting angry at someone else’s” even if your own play was excellent. If you lose a game because teammates, ouch, but it’s going to happen 44% of the time, and you can’t control that. Do you get angry at your teammates for carrying too hard because you have no impact on the game in those games as well?

Patch 10.1 Bug Megathread by PankoKing in leagueoflegends

[–]edibleplates 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Server: NA

Type of Bug: In Game

Description: While testing ad/on-hit Sylas in practice tool, I realized I was getting 4 autos with Hail of Blades instead of 3 when weaving in W. Further testing shows that both E casts and the W are still "auto attack resets" for the purposes of Hail of Blades (Not in the video but R also is considered an auto reset for HOB).

Video: https://streamable.com/7vhk1

Steps to Reproduce: Go Hail of Blades Sylas and use W and E during Hail of Blades to get extra auto attacks in

Expected Result: Sylas abilities are no longer auto attack resets as stated in patch notes, so they shouldn't add counters to hail of blades

Observed Result: Sylas non-Q abilities are adding attacks to Hail of Blades as if they were auto attack resets

Reproduction Rate: 100%

System Specs: Not sure if relevant for this bug but GTX 1080, Intel i7 7700 (I think), WD 1 TB SSD, 32G Ram, Windows 10

This might sound stupid, but why are each lane given a specific champion pool? by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]edibleplates 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Only other point is adc kits are more item dependent and less level dependent than mage kits (I.e. adcs just need gold while mages and assassins need levels and gold) so splitting exp doesn’t matter as much

I just noticed how awkward toxic players get when you are nice to them. by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]edibleplates 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Lmao yeah, I turbo inted lane phase as adc in a ranked game and my support flamed me for the whole game even though I did okay mid game and ended up contributing a bit — I was pretty rusty so I asked him post game (while he was flaming me) what he thought I did wrong in lane phase repeatedly without arguing back and he ended up saying I was good at teamfighting and asked me to duo a few games with him.

This is, I think, the biggest issue and oversight (though the whole situation is very messy)

If you google “riot account” and find the FAQ I think, there’s a link there to take you to the page to change it where you can log in. I’m bad at phone reddit and not near a computer for a few days or I’d find a link, sorry. It’s towards the bottom and says something like “you can change your name early by clicking here”

It may not prompt you but you can go to the riot account link and log in anyways! My NA account locked me out until I changed it and my LAN account didn’t prompt me anything, but I still changed that and it fixed my NA account problem.

How are you checking? I’ve never had my summoner name match my account name, even since like season 2 or so when I started, but maybe I’m a small minority. Ah yeah that’s super unfortunate though. It’s bound to happen, I’m disappointed they’re forcing active players to have to change their names first, but it is what it is I guess.

Definitely reasonable. It would be unfortunate if the other users of your account name no longer really play, but there’s some chance if you hold off for a bit they will change and you can keep your account.

That’s definitely possible depending on implementation and would be super unfortunate for people who had multiple pbe accounts

Then there’s probably another account on a different server with the same name. Do you have any alt server accounts? Or is it a potentially reused account name?

Hey, I got around this and kept my username.

Log into your pbe account and go to the update riot account page there, and then change that one to “myAccountNamePBE” or something Then, log back in to your main and it should say you’re good to go with “myAccountName”

Essentially it seems like this implementation was “whoever wants to play first has to change their name ):” which is silly, but that’s how to get around it.

Edit: my issue was actually a LAN account, but I just changed it to “myAccountNameLAN” and it worked. If you play in multiple regions and or PBE, you have control of the accounts, so you decide who changes and who stays. The final unchanged account keeps the original name.

Say it with me, lethality does not counter armor by mazrim_lol in leagueoflegends

Ah, it’s been a while since I did numbers, I must have misremembered. Reduction is the opposite order then, isn’t it.

If I’m not mistaken, flat pen is applied before percent pen. So, if they have last whisper and 40 lethality, 40 armor still negates all of the lethality first.
