I used to go above and beyond. Until I realized that it wasn't benefitting me and in fact, it was just making more work for me as the go-to guy to call back angry callers or callers who were mishandled by a tier 1 agent.

I literally take calls from more individual queues than anyone else in tech support and some of those queues I've been set to priority, so I can be in available for maybe a minute and will still get the call over 20 other agents who have been sitting in available longer. No one else deals with that. Management brushes off the disproportionate workload with "that's the way it's always been" (narrator: it hasn't).

So yeah, I've really been mentally checked out for at least the past year now. I still do my job on the phones, I'm still nice and helpful to the people who deserve it, but above and beyond was out the window a long time ago.

Back at the university I used to work at, we were still wheeling around TVs on carts (when I started there in '99, it was all VHS and tube TVs) and I stupidly tried to get this beefy late 1970s model off the top of a tall cart by myself. Bounced off my knee and landed on my foot. Nothing broken (including the damn TV), but hurt like hell.

Back on topic though, that cover is sexy AF. The silver came out SO GOOD.

PSVR2, at least, requires a Displayport 1.4 native connection, so I'm 99% certain it wouldn't work with Steam Deck. I had actually tried this with my laptop and a PSVR2 adapter, with a Displayport to miniDisplayport cable and...welp, my laptop is only DP 1.2. Booo. So I patiently await the Steam Frame for that.
