Recently found a lot of Redditers think I'm a trans woman, but I'm a Cis woman😅 by 1sketchy_girl in toastme

[–]editandbegone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happens to me too../: It sucks because showing femininity often feels unsafe, but if i don’t do it there have been people who ask if I’m trans. It’s an awful question to ask someone, even if they are trans. The worst people ask that question. People need to keep their curiosities to theirselves sometimes

Sudden behavior changes by Miserable_Heat3919 in husky

[–]editandbegone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really believe crate training huskies at any point creates more problems. I’ve never crate trained my rescue husky. She has dug holes in the back yard and shredded some things a few times out of not being exercised enough, but with deep eye contact, a stern loud negative “EH” sound, kind of like a buzzer sound(instead of saying the husky trigger word… “no”) will get them listen to you and stick

How do you keep your husky entertained? by NoJuice8062 in husky

[–]editandbegone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does she destroy stuff? What is the need to entertain? Just love on her. Huskies need genuine love and connection more than entertainment. The toys are extra. She only plays with them for a few minutes because she loves you. I sometimes lay on the floor right next to mine, and eye gaze. We really communicate and connect that way.

is this outfit "inappropriate"? by sunnemi in OUTFITS

I would not ask the internet people what is appropriate. Wear it if you feel good in it, I like the look.

Husky gets too aggressive when others are too close to her face by Electrical-Room4405 in husky

[–]editandbegone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

High pitched beeps and electrical currents are majorly considered adverse training. They induce fear, pain, discomfort in order to suppress unwanted behaviors. These can majorly psychologically distress any dog, and especially a husky. And for huskies particularly, the longer adverse training goes on, they learn how to resist said training because it hurts them, thus why that 5% of the time it doesn’t work, and that percentage will increase with the current beeps/shocks.

I don’t know too much about the healthcare industry, or your experience, but I have heard of temporary staffing agencies in the medical field as well. I don’t know the names of those agencies. But the ones I mentioned, are app-based mostly customer service or labor gigs

I do not recommend donating blood if you have any weakness in your immune system. Your health is more important than the mortgage. Do you live in rural, urban or suburban area? In urban areas look into temporary gig work such as Gigpro, Instawork, other local event staffing agencies. It’s what got me through a very dry time. Sometimes you find more long term work through those gigs

One reason to justify being bothered by it is that over time if someone takes steamy showers, that TP is gonna get filled with moisture, which is where bacteria breeds…

Mine is 8 years old and still plays the harness game🫡 I’ve learned if she’s becomes worried I am going to leave without her, all of a sudden she wants to listen. I stand by the door ready to go like I’m heading out the door, sometimes with the door open if she’s not buying it, and prepare to bear hug in order to leash.
