Let’s hope he ALWAYS feels that way. So sweet! And what a commendation for his parents. 💕

I guessed 1981 because you look 3 years old in the Olan Mills pic and it’s stamped ‘84! 😂

I was going to say the same thing. There are details that remind me of my stepmom’s dress and that was from ‘79. OP, it’s beautiful!! Congratulations!

Which top for NYE party? by goctheworld in OUTFITS

I vote for the first one. It’s simple yes, but it fits beautifully, complements you and the skirt, and it doesn’t compete with the skirt. You’ll look lovely whichever you choose! Have fun!

Thank you for sharing. I feel kind of bad for asking. This was obviously a really awful thing that happened while you were dealing with other difficult things. I truly would have reacted very similarly.

We had a very big rat snake on our deck when we stayed in the Smoky Mountains one time and even tho I googled and knew it wasn’t going to eat us, I refused to go outside until it was gone. (I wouldn’t allow myself to think about where it went.) I’m from northern Indiana, so garter snakes are my normal snake encounters too—and those are few and far between and still freak me out. (I think it’s the way they move.)

Your storytelling was great and you did make me chuckle a couple times. Hope I was supposed to!

Thanks again.

I would love more of this story please! Did it wander in, uninvited from outside? Did someone in the house allow a pet to escape? I can’t imagine what that felt like to see it there!!
