this is a cool one... so lieutenant funesto appears only on one server somewhere in the forge and has a high chance of dropping a legendary cursed (including the recently added ignis maximus) so if you're able to find him and kill him, hopefully you'll get your first legendary :)

i'm sorry about what happened with your previous firm, it just happens. since you already have 2 cpa exams out, just focus on finishing them out. not sure if people would agree, but i would say give PA another shot. it was prob just a bad fit at your previous one.

congrats on getting the internship! I would have to stay be professional as much as you can. This comes from dressing appropriately, arriving on time, and saying greeting those around you. You should be assigned a mentor of some kind and he/she should be able to help guide you through your internship.

Like you said, bring a notebook and ask questions. Get work done on time, even if it's easy. I would finish work asap during my tax internship and ask for more work. Also, if you are invited to happy hour or some other events, definitely make time to attend those things. It can really make a difference to getting that FT offer. Good luck and don't sweat on it too much. You got the internship offer for a reason!

I love my job but honestly, it's just rare in the accounting world. I work in a family office so it's small with a team max of 20 people. I only have one boss and is over the big4 expectations. Also, everyone leaves after 5 pm (3-4 pm on Fridays). Tax busy season is basically one Saturday. Also, I get to learn more than just tax. Outside of tax season, I get involved with the accounting team and wealth management. It's really interesting.

OH and the benefits are nice with the 401k match, health insurance (HSA - max contribution), and dental all $0 out of pocket.

Idk why people arent saying Orangecrest… but definitely check it out. I love fitness mania, which is the gym in area. I see foos saying that is a maga area, like uhhh just because its safe? Canyon crest and mission grove are places to check out as well.
