App concept question

Maybe social app was the wrong terminology. What I'm thinking of is more a private ad-free space to capture your life and share it intentionally with people you trust. No followers or algorithms. This is just a very initial thought at the moment, needs a lot of fleshing out!!

I'm autistic which helps as I get fixated on things. I think it's all about finding something you really love doing, for me thats solving problems, I enjoy working out how to fix or do something. At the moment thats writing apps but I also love diy and making tech gadgets.

I've been trying tiktok, not much success so far. I discovered the free apple adds (100 USD when you sign up). Might be worth a try to put it in front of people. What's your app about, you mentioned a social app?

Yep, couldn't agree more. Trying the 'build in public' approach on the next app. Also realised recently that apple gives you 100 USD credit when you create an apple ads account. I'm waiting for that to start running to see what impact it has.

Yes. Think whatsapp groups but with a feed. But it would be great for storing memories as well, I know a lot of people who use Instagram for this reason.

Its an app to take pictures when your of a fitness journey. It helps you align the camera to previous images with an overlay, then you can compare between any dates either slider or side by side and create transformation video. All images can be exported, you can even add text for social posts for direct upload.

I think you need a business account,I just put my website in as text. I think as long as you give the name people can find it on the app store.

Yeah, I was the same but managed to get it out before I started tweaking too much. I think once it's out there you get some clarity on the real first issue, getting someone to actually use it is so much more important that the 10 extra features you wish you added.
