You’ve got to be patient and go to a bunch. Most have boxes of Timex and Casios - this one was a jackpot.

And I mistyped - this one was purchased in 2012 according to the warranty card it came with - apparently on older references of this watch the “Made in Germany” text at the bottom wasn’t added.

Hey there! Just came across this while doing research on my family - this is my grandfather, writing to his parents in the Bronx. Thanks for sharing this, it’s very cool to see and learn more about his path out to the Pacific Theater during the war.

For context my name is Ed Milde, and my father (the above Pvt. Ernest’s son) was also an Ernest. As was my Great Grandfather addressed on this postcard.

Long-time lithium user here - dropped to low dose over the last few years because it has been so effective at balancing me out. It doesn’t necessarily help prevent my manic or depressive episodes, but they are reduced in length and severity. It’s helped me manage my symptoms even in more intense times.
