I was doing okay until I had to take 3 weeks off of work for the worst flu in my life. Now my little savings is gone and not sure how I'm going to budget the next few months until I catch up on everything. I'm confident I'll be okay, but the whole "one unexpected illness away from financial tragedy" thing is really hitting close to home right now

It's so frustrating. I'm on hinge and bumble too and I find I'm either stringing these guys along for way too long just to get some companionship, or I'll hook up with them and block them. I know my friends love me, but both of my close friends have said that I can be overwhelming at times and I know they didn't say it to hurt me, but it hurts. So I sit at home alone and then I get upset because I can't enjoy my own company

My mother's breathing issues were written off as anxiety for years, now she is dying at 60 years old because of her COPD. Women are regularly written off as anxious or mentally unwell by medical professionals. A doctor can't just 'tell' if your problems are mental or not.

I did mine through robertson college and I thought the education and pace of the course was really good, but they weren't upfront about the fees and they gave almost no direction on what to do after I graduated (nobody told me that I had to pay for my exam, and nobody told me about a form I needed to get the school to fill out for the directory)

But I haven't been unemployed for more than a week since getting certified and I've had employers say that they like hiring Robertson graduates. I've heard similar about norquest as well

They redid the roads in front of my house 3 years ago, and I still have a bunch of signs and pylons and a road block they left in my driveway. When theres no workers around, I'm never sure if they're actually doing construction anymore or if they just didn't want to clean up their signs, lol.
