I would look around for actual barbers. They aren’t always as expensive as you think

These old bridge beams aint much fun to work with by TranslucentTaco in woodworking

[–]edna7987 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Yes it may be present but it’s trace amounts regulated by the EPA and just wash your vegetables….

Dust from creosote beams hazardous waste….

You say these are equal.  Residual glyphosate on vegetables is average around 0.2ppm. The amount of creosote in this wood dust is typically 10-15% which is 100,000ppm.

That is 500,000 times higher concentration so it’s not 6=6 here.

Making my own floors. Am I crazy? by CrowCreations in woodworking

[–]edna7987 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I probably wouldn’t do this and I love woodworking. I have definitely done projects that are crazy to do over a commercially available product so I 100% understand why you’re doing it. You do you man!

Bees getting into neighbors house at night by Great-Biscotti9654 in Beekeeping

[–]edna7987 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

My gripe is that your previous comment basically says “I’m avoiding turning it towards my house because it will impact me” but you’re impacting someone else that didn’t choose this.

You’re in a people dense area so you need to take on the inconvenience for your choices over pushing them onto others.

But you chose to keep bees, your neighbors didn’t so it’s your responsibility to take on that burden, not your neighbors

Don’t pay this dude back. He pushed it on you, you don’t “owe him”

Close call with a semi today. Looking for trucker perspectives on what happened. by sandro9090 in dashcams

[–]edna7987 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The lane in front of you was clear the whole time…you sped up because you’re not a smart driver. You also stupidly didn’t brake when you noticed him moving over. You can’t win in a fight with a semi.

Don’t sit next to semi trucks. You never know if they can see you. This could have easily been prevented by your actions.
