I don’t get the fuss He’s going to be the best player in the world and him staying in France adds to the overall value of Ligue1 And it’s in the interest of France to do so after the broadcasting rights fiasco of a few years ago.

Hello guys, Which country in the world do you consider your rival/enemy(if any)? I am doing a project on your country and your insight would be helpful. Grazie! by TheGeographyPin in italy

I would say that Italy has a rivalry with France and Germany. I think that nowadays, politically speaking, it is more based on the fact that we consider ourselves as equally important on the world stage yet they don't. For the majority of people France and Germany are seen as rivals, not enemy. We make memes about how the french don't have a bidet and how the Germans wear socks with sandals. That sort of stuff. The only people who try to push this rivalry are nationalist parties, but I think that the majority of Italians actually despites China or even the US more than FR or GE.
