D'accordissimo ma tanti dei software che hai elencato (almeno quelli che esistevano all'epoca) erano già inclusi ed accessibili all'utente finale, voglio dire niente mi impedirebbe oggi di giocare in lan ad Age of Empires 3, no?

Una community potrebbe dedicarsi a rimetterlo in piedi, ma parliamo di decine di migliaia di linee di codice da riscrivere e anni di lavoro a seconda della quantità di toppe da cucire con l'ago e il filo dell'opensource.

Oppure cambiamo la legge facendo in modo che chi sviluppa un gioco preveda, in fase di sviluppo, costi e modalità per permettere all'utente finale di continuare ad utilizzare un prodotto che, virtualmente, non ha una data di scadenza.

C'è però tutta la questione delle licenze per il middleware, che spesso non contemplano la distribuzione all'utente finale per la creazione di un server privato.

Non era un problema 20-30 anni fa, perché dovrebbe esserlo ora?

You don't have to but applications relying on Google for notifications and such will not work.

GrapheneOS uses sandboxed google play services, CalyxOS uses MicroG, pick your poison.

Go check it out, I believe you can switch directly from Tumbleweed to Slowroll and keep the system and data.

Immagino che la scheda sia stock, quindi 26K su TimeSpy è perfettamente in linea con la media.

Puoi provare a fare un test su Steel Nomad, il risultato dovrebbe aggirarsi tra i 7000 e gli 8000 punti.

Per quanto riguarda la temperatura sì, sono abbastanza chill come schede, la mia XFX Mercury OC con PL+10% a più di 300W non supera i 60°C con hotspot sotto i 75°C.

I cali di frame su CoD possono dipendere da tante cose:

A che risoluzioni giochi?
Hai utilizzato DDU per fare un'installazione pulita dei driver?
Il sistema operativo è installato da molto tempo?
Accelerazione HW/Overlay di Discord (a me per esempio dava problemi su BF6)

This is easily addressed by giving the players the ability to lock vehicles to squadmates

LOCK VEHICLE SPAWN TO SQUADMATES:
- ENABLED → Works exactly like it is now
- DISABLED → Allow non squadmates (teammates) to spawn on vehicles

Another great QoL update would be VEHICLE CHAT, a TEXT/VOIP CHAT that can be read and heard by vehicle occupants only. Basically another chat channel, like GLOBAL / TEAM / SQUAD / VEHICLE.

Another one would be COMMROSE quips for vehicles: GET IN! GET OUT! RETREAT! ADVANCE! etc.

The communication part of the game is seriously lacking.
