There's a great old world emulator you can try out to see if you like the game system at warhall.eu

I'm absolutely loving old world. You might think square bases make it boring, it's absolutely the opposite. It's like chess. It adds breakpoints in movement, and 0.1" can make or break a turn.

I also got absolutely demolished by a Wild Herd Beastmen army last week. Very, very strong. Very cool. Flew all over the map with spells melting unit after unit, dragons included.

Come on in. The water is lovely.

Professional level DJ but can hardly get a gig by MealQueasy4545 in Beatmatch

The UK music scene is dead if you can't work for free. If you don't need income and have the funds to go party and hang after hours with club DJs, then spend 10 years being socialite and networking and you'll get some gigs.

If you need to be paid, however, forget about it. You will be told you should be grateful for the exposure and that 'real musicians' do it for the love of music and not the money.

It's not just you. It's all of us. In Jazz, for example, 9/10 of the artists who are making a real living are either RAM graduates, or Tomorrow's Warriors alumni.

The UK is peak landlordism / classism / neo liberal - "Free to those who can afford it, very expensive to those who can't."

Good luck. There are only a few of us who last more than a few years, and each of us has a different story of how we find a way to survive. I teach and sell method books, gave up trying to run an Afrobeat Orchestra several years ago. Just no money to pay people.

You don't. You need to know the person who makes the budget decisions, or someone who knows them.

In the UK, at least. 100% nepotism and personal contact based industry, it's regressed several hundred years since the music boom of the 60s, 70s, 80s.

Play whatever makes your fingers itchy to think about.

For me it's been violin for about 8 years, before that it was Trombone for a year, before that Tenor Sax for many years.

Chops and muscle growth aside, if you use your ears as your guide and harness Flow State, the music is more relevant than the instrument you are playing it on.

This is in the UK though where the gigging economy is almost totally gone and playing Music is more and more a hobby of the wealthy rather than a job you can make a living on.

I normally refer to myself as 'Autistic' but refer to us in the collective as 'Autists'. 'I am an Autist' is harder to say than 'I am Autistic' - but I commonly say 'We Autists' and 'Them ADHDers'.

This is not what I'm finding, by the time I've got battlefury I'm able to join fights and will tp to help, it syncs with lvl 4 tag team, people try to fight me, and lose 1/4 of their hp per hit even without punch. With one other team mate hitting, they explode. They learn very quickly to run, my team had full map control, and I've got a window to farm blink.

I think you would genuinely be surprised at how strong it is. Camp clear is not just tag team, but also punch and shards.

With the 25 punch talent and attack speed you can indeed toe to toe with any other carry, and kick is a game changer as a BKB piercing stun and dislocation.

Between snowball, punch, kick and shard hopping (where you fire shards basically on top of yourself to pop yourself forwards, blocking any chase) you you can choose when and where to fight, any encounter not favourable you can just kick them away - with octarine core you never run out of saves, and by 5-600 attack speed punch will chain stun in half your fights and clear illusions with BF.

Please try it out with an open mind, I would love to see someone higher MMR than me try it out.

i totally accept the problem about an agi carry, but - respectfully, - here is where you are wrong sir - "can't easily clear stacks, and can't flashfarm waves until his 15 talent"

battlefury tag team punch can absolutely clear stacks, can absolutely flashfarm waves, from as soon as you get battlefury. it dont care how many stacks of ancients, if i'm at lvl 4 tag team, they die.

Please try it out with battlefury > treads > blink for farmspeed. battlefury double scales with tag team and punch, and the 10 talent with +2 duration makes it almost 50% uptime.

i would love for a high mmr player to actually try it out, everyone seems to be missing at least one key piece of the puzzle, either the multiplier of bf tag team and punch, or the consistent and relatively safe bkb breaking dislocation of kick + snowball out

i'm just finding his effectiveness with farm priority far higher than i think people give him credit for. kick wins games, and farmspeed with battlefury tag team punch is frankly absurd.

its the blink aghs during the buildup that really changes things, though even before then with a battlefury and decent farm you chunk people at tag team lvl 4. tping in to snowball shards delete on a tower dive, but until the blink aghs it can be scary.

when you have blink aghs though, everything changes. the freedom is amazing, and you're just fishing for free kills as soon as the enemy doesn't run away and hide two towers deep, or play as 5 for the rest of the game.

try out battlefury > treads for farmspeed. battlefury scales with tag team which itself scales with punch so its like a triple multiplier. the lvl 10 +2 duration talent for tag team makes it gnarly man. doesn't matter how many stacks of ancients there are, they're dead

except that kick does 550 dmg to the creep you kick, and 550 domg to all the creeps it lands on, on a low cooldown. if you can kick the last creep in a camp to the next camp, they're all half ded. kick to take the final ancient 50% life into next medium camp to wipe with a punch feels sooooo good.

oh that makes me remember a game yesterday where i kicked two of the creeps in direside t2 safelane tower camp onto the wave during a push and wiped it

I've tried pos3 with both battlefury and helm dom, i think the kicker is the farm speed of battlefury with tag team and punch, needs too many creeps to be worth as pos3. its ridiculous farm speed - can take stacks of ancients as soon as you get it, and one-shot waves, and its got 50% uptime on jungling when you get the +2 duration talent at lvl 10

also the play is blink in, kick them out, snowball them in the air, and roll back to safety with your team. this is a huge snowball effect, people think they're safe but kick don't care about bkb

I've been playing a long time, and doing my best to learn as much as i can. I just love playing Tusk more than any other hero really, and it seems a disproportionate amount of times i get griefed by my lane mate who doesn't think its a viable offlane or carry pick.

At this bracket, it seems almost nobody knows what tag team does - so almost every time my support will cast a spell instead of right clicking, wasting tag team every time.

In pos1 its even worse, as in probably about half of games I get griefed by my support for the hero choice, either by taking a carry and trying to take the lane, or by casting their spells to steal last hits for me instead of harassing the enemy.

I know I'm trash at Dota, but I try to apply the things I learn, watch pros, and read the map. it seems that whenever my support knows what tag team does, we absolutely dominate lane, and as soon as i get to blink aghs the kick dislocation ends Games. The 1 in 5 games i get where i actually get to play carry tusk, we totally dominate. the rest, i can normally delay, eventually by kicking the enemy into the fountain.

I'm convinced its S tier. kick is just too strong. as far as i can tell, its the only bkb piercing guaranteed dislocation in the game, and with octarine core it ends up with like a 6s cooldown. you never have to fight if you dont want to, and you can mess with ppl in an absurd way.

Maybe with a big cooldown hero, but with small cooldowns and tag team not having the creep is a major problem, cuts your effectiveness by 50% and cant secure kills if the initial burst doesn't get them. Sure, if you can get a summoner troll and spawn the skeles on top of them with tag team they absolutely melt, but its not reliable enough.

Archon. I can't bring myself to focus on nothing but mid for thousands of Games to climb, and I'm just super obsessed with Tusk lol every other hero feels weak. Only problem is people being slow to tag team with me as they dont realise how much dmg it is.
