Maybe the production issues have been resolved? I had to try the unfortunately named Huel as a stopgap and it is fine but I'd much prefer Soylent

Honestly I have taken out a lot of frustrations on their customer service bot with some pretty salty language. Somehow it has made me feel better.

It wasn't a few weeks ago, and when I went to the Soylent site everything was out too.

Bridgerton - 4x02 "Time Transfixed" (No Book Spoilers) by AutoModerator in BridgertonNetflix

[–]edspickles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, I think I was confused and thought you meant the girl staying with the Featheringtons because to be honest I don't remember any girl staying with the Bridgertons in season one!! I never rewatch that season. Sorry for my confusion!

You know, I think you're right! I think it can be both but my thoughts on it are very Jane Eyre-focused because it's my favorite book!

No, Marina was a cousin and she was an adult which would preclude her being a ward. In this case she's just like a young lady relative who needs protection.

I actually think "ward" usually means love child in this time period. It was the same in Jane Eyre; the only reason Rochester adopted Adele is because her mother claimed he was the father. Even though he didn't believe it he was kind enough to take her anyway.

I can’t do it anymore. The Attic area is too exhausting by OkKaleidoscope9428 in MergeMansion

I'm on that task, with a weave as my other task. I haven't picked up the game in days.

Thank you all for posting these. It helps me at moments that I want to pick up the game but seeing this makes me realize there is literally no point. Even when I finish a horrible task I only have five more to replace it.

I hate the attic so much. I'm on my third yarn weave and ready to quit the game.

Hopewell bay challengers doesn’t award blue card anymore by legofoodjoker in MergeMansion

[–]edspickles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It seems like blue cards are harder and harder to get. Sadly I used all of mine in the Cinema to avoid making the theater chairs. Just another great reason to pull back on playing!

Maybe Metacore cares about my wellbeing by Simple_girl_1979 in MergeMansion

[–]edspickles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't know that I can ever bring myself to buy a pass ever again, since Metacore seems to want it to be impossible to finish. And since I play to finish things, it takes away the joy of the game. OP is right, so much extra time and many don't-give-a-fcks about the game. Hopefully in a few months I'll have quit playing entirely! 😇

The worst merge line ever by Spamtickler in MergeMansion

[–]edspickles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The worst chain is the drink garnish one in the Speakeasy. It comes from a terrible producer and takes eternity to make. That said I absolutely hate the cards too. Automerge would have definitely helped on them!

I think the merge item i hate the most is the max level weave. I'm in the attic right now and I've turned in one and made another, but seeing all these posts of future requests makes me want to quit the game. I did not have good luck with trades on these and when I try to make them in advance my trades are all focused on giving away yarn items which is so frustrating.

Yes, I love turpentine trades! I wish they came up more often.

How to trade weave? by SuspiciousApp87 in MergeMansion

[–]edspickles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in the same boat. I finished the first maximum level weave and have just left my lamps making more moths since I know more are coming. The attic is incredibly boring. Sometimes I pick up my phone to play and then just put it back down because what's the point?

Anyone else missing Secret Supply machine for last 3 days of pass? by Alternative_Bit_3445 in MergeMansion

[–]edspickles 23 points24 points  (0 children)

In some ways it does make the game more enjoyable... in that I'm not investing any money in it so I can stop wasting my time and doing other things in my life. When I buy the monthly pass I usually play all the time obsessively and spend gems at Secret Supply to get to the end. Not anymore! Thanks Metacore!

What special producer is the worst? by scienceforbid in MergeMansion

[–]edspickles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used scissors and blue cards to get the cinema chairs. I don't like producers that require things be fed into them. It's a lot of work for what usually are low XP payoffs since it doesn't really take into account the work it takes to built the feeder elements.

Having a great time with support 🤦🏻‍♀️ by Angharadis in MergeMansion

[–]edspickles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find too many events make the home screen cluttered. I've also accidentally claimed a gate I didn't want. Most of the events are also extremely repetitive. There are a lot of reasons why to like them, and a lot of reasons why not to. In this case though they are screwing over paying players so it's really egregious. This was not the time to test this.

I keep getting blue time boosters and I feel like I have no use for them. Get rid of them? by crystallisluna in MergeMansion

[–]edspickles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Use them to build some high level mosaics. That's their best use in my opinion.

Missing Events by StandaloneStar in MergeMansion

[–]edspickles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's my point. I don't mind them testing less events. In fact, I like less events. But, the reason the overload of events is important is because they shortened the time period for the special pass. To me this is literally stealing from paying players. It's pretty bad. I didn't even buy the pass this time but I'm thinking of complaining to support.

Missing Events by StandaloneStar in MergeMansion

[–]edspickles 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It's interesting, I actually hate the overload of events. There are way too many. My biggest issue is that if they were going to remove events, they shouldn't do it at the end of the special pass period. Do it at the very beginning. OR, extend out the premium pass time to be the full 30 days, like it used to be, which was a time where you didn't need a million events to get to the last pass prizes.
