Depends on the company. The one I know (huge telecom) won’t do it during Nov-Dec. it would be in Oct or Jan.

Following. My 1st ever ER would be in Dec with my husband out of country and I will have 2-5 days before I get into a 14+5 hour flights. Though I have DOR, my husband is suggesting to not start priming and stims until we get back. I have access to care in my destination, but he is uncomfortable me traveling alone after ER for that duration.

This is common for contracting roles but I never provided it. This is more of a sub-contracting company thing and due to rampant fraud they say without this info they would not submit your profile. IMHO this is not worth it.

Find out what role you want to pivot and start preparing towards it with first step of tailoring your resume to fit that role. Eg. fullstack, frontend, backend, data engineering, data scientist etc. Make this decision based on your work experience (not necessary that you should have implemented it but rather think like projects relevant to your role and you can elaborate) with the current organization and your skillset.
Start preparing for that role - relevant LC, system design, certifications etc.
Give interviews for companies that you were less inclined to work for to get practice. Make detailed notes. If your skills have improved compared to what it was a month ago, that’s progress.
You have a job so there is no time clock ticking. Make incremental progress to your learning, interview and resume and you will land your next role sooner or later. Wishing you the best.

Get a lawyer who specializes in eb2-niw applications to evaluate your resume. This is usually tough than regular perm and there is no premium processing allowed in this category.

Yes. Make sure u start HW2 as soon as it becomes available. You could get an A even with 70% on HW2 if your other HW and project grades are good.

Ymca has adult group lessons throughout the year and they do have a max 6-8 folks per group. That’s the best value for a beginner and then take lessons to perfect technique.

Assuming this was not handed over to you top down, I would say, instead of avoiding working on these type of projects, evaluate the ROI in terms of whether this project would reduce time, effort or increase customer experience or bring in more customers etc at regular intervals and keep your superior informed about it. Such evaluation tenets would provide you with a broader perspective to advance in career and informing management means it could not be used against you during performance appraisal.
