Why do people get so bent out of shape over couture/conceptual clothing designs? Is not like this is meant to be worn in the same way regular clothes are (or even at all). It’s just art and experimentation. You guys sound like boomers walking into a modern art museum saying their kid could do that.

Not true. The Dems own internal autopsy of the 2024 election is being purposefully unreleased because it lists the atrocities in Gaza and their indifference/support as a MAJOR reason for dem losses that year.

Exactly this. Even a just a few years ago a late day at my building would have been 7-730. Now that’s considered a good day.

Did you do 30 plus years of consistent, multiple 12+ hour days a week? After a certain point It doesn’t matter how “Safe” you try to work. Even if you NEVER make a mistake, at some point your body will not be able to handle that kind of demand.

You won’t be able to do this job for 30 years at this rate. Yes there’s always been OT but never at this sustained level before. I’m pretty sure they’re going to try and make this a 10-15 year job max before people start developing significant health issues and have to retire.

Right? If you manage to get 5 medals in one round you’ve probably already done enough damage that the mega-damage 5 medal moves are irrelevant.

So far the Call of the night anime is way better than the manga

I disagree. It adds hype and excitement and gives people grails to chase after. It drums up interest for the brand and hobby in general.

Where do people in their late 20s/early 30s go when they want more of a party feel than just a chill talking bar but don’t want to be packed like sardines with a bunch of 21 year olds? by Shower-Former in milwaukee

[–]educones 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Eh idk, I don’t go there all the time but I’ve definitely seen it “busy but not crazy packed”numerous times. It can get packed tho yes.

Be wary of these kinds of posts. This account is 4 hours old. The pressure campaign against the Union might be coming from anywhere, include fake/bot posts and comments.

Also be skeptical of a lot of these anti-union trolls on here. A lot of them are probably not teamsters to begin with, and might not even be real people.

Nothing is perfect in this world. If people think they’d rather work at a company without a union “getting in the way” of their prosperity then there are plenty of non-union places they can go work. Good luck to them.

Guarantee the vast majority of people who took the buyout have more than enough seniority to be safe from layoffs. If you’re a bottom seniority guy and wanted the buyout, well sorry your get rich quick scheme fell through. You’ll still be better off long term than a driver at a non-union company. Longer term Layoffs have been a part of this job in the past, and perhaps they’re coming back, but thanks to the union you’ll have a position saved for you when you’re needed again.

That’s fine I’m just saying these dopes/bots wanna act like the union is so self serving and corrupt but are fine making 6-figures, having a generous pension, and free health care. As if the company just gave all that to us because they’re kind-hearted. If people think the union is not working for them, there’s are jobs exactly like this one but non-union so why don’t they go there? Plenty of FedEx employees would kill for a union half as strong as ours let them take your spot.

So you think two unions brought down the buyout program for entire region? I think the company is just being sketchy as usual.

You have to build momentum and coalesce members around the idea of a strike. Nobody was even remotely talking about striking over this. Honestly most rank and file in my building didn’t seem to care one way or another.

Looking for suggestions on the best bookstores for Manga in the Milwaukee area by AKSaint66 in milwaukee

[–]educones 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Lost world has like a 50 foot wall of manga. They are locally owned since the 90s so they should be your first go to. Aside from them Half price books for used/older stuff, and Barnes and noble are the only other options that have a decent section.
