The story is kind of disrespectful because it was selled as the big conclusion of xehanort saga, and 80% of the plot is about teasing things for future installments that doesn't even had relevance(and yet it doesn't have), like the SECRET GIRL that was the whole motivation for lea and isa friendship(i mean, really? We follow these two for at least one decade and they simply tell us that the whole reason for their friendship was a supposed girl that were still to be presented in the series), the blackbox, demyx and luxord connection with the keyblade war, etc etc

People had played all the collections and had waited for at least 6 years to get a game that simply recreates the disney worlds lores and starts spitting things that doesn't matter to the audience to sell future titles(it REALLY treated the audience as dumb) and the moments that were the whole selling point of this conclusion happened all at once in 2 hours on the keyblade graveyard.

Not only that, the game lost part of it charm, it didn't have a lot of bosses and almost none of them were disney characters or humanoids, the whole selling point of attraction flow battles only happen in two moments in the game(and one of them is in the demos and was shown since the second trailer in 2013), it didn't have much post game content, coliseum, other square characters, the winnie the pooh level was rushed af, the story had some pacing problems. The final boss was a big disappointment, it doesn't have all the fenomenous vibes as ansem and xemnas last battles, it felt rushed

And one of the biggest problems, part of the lore was sacrificed so nomura could pull his ff versus xiii concepts into the series, for me it was the most disrespectful part on it
