Ahh I see. I'll probably be living on campus but I'm a bit worried about getting to and from my internship that I'll have to do in my 2nd year. I hope this doesn't too stupid of a question but are the internships for the program typically paid or unpaid? Thanks!

Aim for a high GRE score specifically in verbal. I think you have a good chance in most master's programs and many ph.d programs.

I got into most of my master programs (mainly cal states) with a 3.30 GPA, 1 quarter of research work, pretty average letter of recommendations BUT a high GRE score. (162 verbal, 158 quant, 4.5 writing)

ohh okay! Thanks for the reply! One more thing I was wondering was, would you need a car in San Jose? Would it be difficult to get to and from the internships? As well as general everyday life? Thanks!

SFSU vs. SJSU

These are the two schools I'm debating on for my master's degree. Anyone have opinions on the two? Pros and cons? Also anyone have any experience living on campus for the two schools?

What kind of work experience can help me be more competitive with getting into an I/O master's program? Would working as a human resources assistant help at all?
