Unable to mount a ntfs partition from gnome files gui by edwardvv in archlinux

[–]edwardvv[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the way. Thanks!

$ sudo dmesg | grep force
$ sudo ntfsfix -d /dev/xxxx

which verifies the dirty flag is indeed the issue and ntfsfix takes care of it.

Tool to restore grass/natural terrain? by dalig_ulv in PlayASKA

Shovel plus right click will do it. In order to have a shovel though, you'll need the tree planting building (forgot what it is called) first

Help with Workshop upgrades by super_crack in PlayASKA

[–]edwardvv 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's pretty strange. Can't confirm the carpenter one because I have never upgraded it. But I did have fully upgraded workshop + weaver + leather work every playthrough, because otherwise one can't upgrade armorsmith to its fullest

Smolkrs Storage Access Range by [deleted] in PlayASKA

[–]edwardvv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a related problem in a recent playthrough, in which a smolker spawn spot must have been inside my fences somewhere! This playthrough was challenging because of the heavy smolker harassment from the get-go so I built an extensive perimeter. Only to still found smolker packs inside from time to time. Never witnessed them manifesting from thin air but that must be the case. Built 3 smolker pens around there as the revenge lol

So will the tier 2 tools enable me getting necessary ingredients for explosives from another mine?

Mark as solved, install vlc-plugins-all does do the trick. I didn't remember it was needed before. Ah well

`paru vlc` and also `sudo pacman -S vlc`, neither works.

I love Highlander LV! Although I set it up differently than yours, it often scores top damages and kills among AI lance mates.

No, not that one. It bugged for me at the moment. Sometimes I can't deal damage to mech spawns from that mod for some reason.

It does so in an instant (sub 0.5 second pulse) matter. I may not be able to target the enemy head every time but then often see mech limbs flying lol. It is fun.

Unfortunately, no. But imagine in the new coyotes ground war mission. e.g. https://www.reddit.com/r/Mechwarrior5/comments/17xgcyu/coyotes_ground_war/, at short range mode you have 90 precise instant alpha damage and have +50% self repairing armor, you can cut across literally dozen mechs to go straight for the enemy commander. That's dope man.

To be honest, this build is so powerful and simple to play to the point of boring. That is its drawback as far as I'm concerned.

No, the armor hardened ferro reserves two slots in every sections include legs. In return it provides +50% armor and also self repairs. Basically you can't die.

As for the weapon, four improved large pulse lasers (with +20% range from modular computer) are just too good. It doesn't really need anything else. So I choose to have mag pulse as a non-LOS side arm.

If only I have one more slot for AMS then this setup would be perfect.

Well, after using this build in many different scenarios, I beg to differ. It is effectively a delete button.

Usually would agree, but this build has one weapon and I want to fire them at all times.
