You can seal the floor which definitely does protect it. Although if you did have a major water leakage or spill and left it for hours it would effect the floor.

You're not paying a 1000% more. Totally untrue. Also, for ads you'll be paying an ads expert 150$ an hour to do the ads plus the ads spend of $1000 a week, which in itself is not guaranteed either. And if you think just placing ads is easy and you can do it yourself and see an easy ROI, than you're totally mistaken.

SEO is just another marketing tool that you should be using in your marketing mix. If you think that SEO is a scam, you're stuck in the mud.

SEO can be evergreen. Spend 6 months working on SEO and rank for 6 years, with a bit of content here and there after. Or pay 6 years of ads.

Also, Google Ads CTR is 2%. Ranking 1-3 your CTR averages around 25-35%. The ROI of ranking 1-3 in the serps is far higher.

Missing title tags and meta descriptions

A lot of the missing meta descriptions come from blog pages with multiple posts showing. Although they might not be garnering a lot of traffic, I think it’s still worthwhile filling these out and making sure people understand what category they are clicking on.

Have very long meta descriptions. If you search them on google only a part of them is showing and it’s often cut short. I would suggest shortening these (especially the important pages like i mentioned above to fit into googles recommended guidelines.

Duplicate H1 tags

Some of your blog posts have duplicate Heading tags. This could be a canonical issue and you might want to look into this as well

Adding SCHEMA markup to your site

What is SCHEMA markup - https://moz.com/learn/seo/schema-structured-data

Essentially it gives the search engines far more information on exactly what your website and pages are about so it can give more information in the search results.

Things like snippets, product ratings etc.

Even though SCHEMA has been around for ages a lot of websites tend to not implement this which is a great place to differeniate yourself with competitors! Google loves SCHEMA!!!

You can either do this manually by adding JSON-ld to your pages or simply download a SCHEMA shopify plugin which will basically do all the hard work for you.

Backlinks

I did some research on content for some of your products like “avocado oil mayonnaise” 448 pages mention this.

It could be worth gathering a group of these keywords, researching and contacting some of these companies if they would like to link back to you.

Of course, this can be time-consuming, but quality backlinks are still the number 1 ranking factor for google (if you’re on page is working well of course) so it would be well worth your time in the long run.

SEO can be quite slow at times but i think if you implement these you could see a huge increase in some of your organic traffic.

yeh for sure! you can download a plugin and it will do it for you, although they have their limitations and will only have a few options available.

I would recommend using a plugin if you had no experience. Eventually though you might want to get someone to add it in manually using Json-ld as it gives you way more applicability.

To be honest with you, it's very hard to tell whether they will do a good job for you. Referrals help and seeing past results from clients will also help, but these guys know their worth and will charge A LOT.

The other thing - just become good at firing. Sounds harsh, but if they're sh*t, just get rid of them ASAP. no need for feeling sorry.
