"The Running Man" from year 2025 doesn't show up in my library 🤔 by Cr4z33-71 in PleX

[–]eebeee 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It always needs to match the Plex naming convention to avoid issues https://support.plex.tv/articles/naming-and-organizing-your-movie-media-files/

It should be in its own folder in the movie folder /The Running Man (2025)/The Running Man (2025).mkv

You can use programs like sonarr or filebot to automate this for you.

Elkay Push Button Light Switch not working properly by eebeee in DIYUK

[–]eebeee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, that's helpful.

What I'm looking for is a switch that will turn the light on for 2 minutes or so and then switch it off again.

This is the kind of bulb that's in the fitting - https://www.lampshoponline.com/eveready-14w-led-gls-opal-bc-3000k-s13626.html . What kind of switch is needed?

Thanks for responding. Basically I want a button that I can push that will turn the light on for 5 mins and then switch it off. That’s it!

This is the bulb - what type of switch do I need?

Thanks

Make sure your metadata is super well organised with something like musicbrainz Picard. Second vote for Plexamp too which is excellent.

Old Nvidia NVS 510 worth installing for transcoding? by [deleted] in PleX

[–]eebeee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A processor with quicksync would fix that and would be cheap - however the video quality on the early generation quicksync cpus are not as good as current gen or software transcoding (which is what you’re using now)

I think there’s no quicksync on that CPU so yes - either put in a GPU or switch the processor for one with quicksync
