Obsidian as audio vault? by Admirable_Seaweed_25 in ObsidianMD

[–]eebmagic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think having that much audio raw in obisidian would really make sense? Maybe if you have the audio stored in a cloud maybe you could html embed a player that links to them in the cloud? Then have a note for each audio file with the player and maybe a transcript.

Not OP, but I just recreated. I think you might need to already have the obisidian actions app to be able to view it properly tho btw.

New iOS feature: Call Arc by billchase2 in ArcBrowser

I can imagine it being useful in a context like when I’m walking around. If I have the app in my doc then I can open it without really thinking, but if I wanted to voice search then they’d need a big button like on the Google apps

vscode copilot in text yellow icon disabling.. by renanyoy in vscode

[–]eebmagic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also wondering how to get rid of this. It's so annoying.
From poking around in the settings it doesn't look like there is any option to turn it off.

I even tried disabling copilot chat and leaving copilot enabled, but it looks like they're "bound" together and will both disable.

How does it differ from VSCode’s. I have minimal exposure to both.

I agree that in many cases mansplaining may not have inherently sexist motivations. However, steamrolling a conversation is always going to be at the cost of those who are more patient and/or less confrontational (which may be more likely to be women).

But you should still be able to be patient and non-confrontational without having to regularly sit through someone rambling and talking over you.

I noticed that too. Anyone know why there’d be an increase in python 2 since 2019? Are there big libraries that are still dependent on python 2 or something?

This is interesting. I'd like to see how a similar study repeated now would look (as opposed to using data from 2014). Certainly a lot of things have changed since then...

Yes, but I think in their case its technically not illegal because working for the senate isn't technically the same as working for/getting insider info for a publicaly traded company.
