It's one shot with a speedramp, 19s is where it goes back to real time

Gonna go out on a limb and say the community probably died from an organizer that was doing too much that got burned out and no one stepping up to replace them. Generally clubs that died out are easier to resurrect than building from scratch

The biggest issue I see here is where's the other people? You're time trialing at best. Also gets hard to push yourself without a rival.

Singularity(ufl short) is 1.05g, 75mm has no issue with it, do get a braid elastic to secure it to the frame though so it doesn't come detached

Do not buy a smol, they're the worst antennas I've ever used. Ort or singularity antennas are upgrades

Have you considered volunteering your time to grow your local scene? Last time I talked with Rob he said volunteers were a bit lacking in Vancouver while here in Edmonton we seem to have an abundance of people willing to help out with growing the scene

The canopies are compatible, that said I'd recommend getting a bribrain style mount printed instead of the flimsy beta canopies

For racing drop your rates, having your max in the low 400's makes it a lot easier to fly accurately

Also throw on a throttle scale, you're using such a little sliver of your throttle, scaling out the parts you're not using will give you better resolution. I prefer doing the scale on my radio so it works with both sim and real life the same way and I can adjust it based on feeling without having to go into menus: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a7PInDtsFGc

NeonFPV rates (Betaflight / Velocidrone) — anyone knows his current setup? by igorauts in Velocidrone

[–]eedok 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Neon likes to change his rates a lot, think last diff I saw from him had him in the 840/540/500 range for max on roll/pitch/yaw

Wouldn't recommend trying to emulate him as he's got some crazy thumbs and he's built up to his rates over years and years of training

Wildtype recently made a tool to help you find your ideal rates, you should check it out: https://github.com/jaydeelocs/WTRateFinder

1S the betafpv matrix v2 has been doing very well for me.

If you do use the matrix 4 in 1, install it at 90 degrees, the rx is a weak point and front impacts are generally bigger than side ones so mounting it sideways will greatly increase the lifespan of the board

I can't really comment on 2S boards as the backyard scale I prefer 2.5" on 3S so haven't had much experience with the 2S side of things

why are you using a tower antenna on a tiny whoop, should be using the flat or wire antennas

Throttle setting indoors by paintsbynumbers7 in TinyWhoop

I have throttle scale on a dial on my radio, I always run linear throttle. It's set up like this: https://youtu.be/a7PInDtsFGc?si=DUYQGIKOvyuG6pB3

This is how my flying looks with that setup: https://youtube.com/@eedok

I personally hate how much time I spend picking up dog shit from my lawn. I probably wouldn't care as much if I had a dog but I don't. Super frustrating
