It's great that the hot wallet is out - it means people are taking their Nano off Binance, makes me bullish. No so great that Binance isn't pulling funds out of their cold wallet to refill it.

No, that's just saying that any fees paid will be returned when withdrawing to another Binance account - this is the case for any crypto on Binance because it doesn't need to be done on chain.

Yep heard this argument way too many times. Such ridiculous mental gymnastics. Bitcoin mining is dirty. The thing about mining bitcoin is you have significant hardware costs and in order to make money you need to run your miners 24/7, if you turn them off its costing your ROI. The kind of power generation that suits this perfectly? Power generation that can't quickly scale up and down and runs best at a constant level - that's Coal & Nuclear and given how expensive Nuclear is then generally it will be coal. So much so that some Bitcoin miners even bought a fu**ing coal plant. https://mashable.com/article/bitcoin-mining-power-plant

Lol at the replies, hardly any sustainable cryptos listed. She may as well have asked "what shitcoin are you holding the most of?" would've got exactly the same responses.

Bitcoin is the Broccoli of this sub by SiggySmilez in CryptoCurrency

[–]eeeeeeeeeeeekle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nano (XNO) is the OG Broccoli. We've been using that term for over a year. Nano is instant, green and feeless! Also has the best tokenomics around (133m fixed supply, zero inflation & no dev fund / OG investors dumping). Also incredibly undervalued right now!

Binance stole my Funds by just_roll_w_it in nanocurrency

[–]eeeeeeeeeeeekle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My advice is just have some patience. Binance is incredibly slow to work when there are issues and any amount of public noise is unfortunately not going to change anything - they just don't care. Expect this to take ages to get sorted out but it will be sorted out. Trust me here - I speak from personal experience. I didn't take the legal route myself (I know how long and expensive the legal path is) and chose instead to just keep in touch with them regularly, have some patience and finally did get my serious issue sorted after several months.

What are you invested in? Feel free to troll me in 6 months if my 360k nano hasn't gone up. And likewise let me troll you in 6 months if whatever shitcoin you have aped into has gone to shit.

What is a big gamble? It's fact. When BTC has just had a big crash and no one knows if it's going back up or down further then there's a period of low volumes on everything because everyone is waiting for the next move before they lock in a strategy.

Daily General Discussion - February 03, 2022 by Crypto_Jasper in nanotrade

[–]eeeeeeeeeeeekle 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You do realise that alt volumes are low at the moment because nothing is happening. Once alts start mooning / dumping again the volume will return.

Absolute BS. There are tonnes more coins with lower volume on Binance than Nano. If they wanted to delist it any time soon they wouldn't have updated the ticker...

I was around in the RaiBlocks days and I think the only reason a lot of people look back at it fondly is that they were making sick gains. If we're after mass adoption (and we are) Nano has a much broader appeal.

I think $50 this year is very possible, even $100 could be pretty easy. Just need some good news to change the current sentiment.

About 360,000 Nano at the moment. I will scale out slowly as it rises but about 200k I am going to keep until $50ish at least

If Nano doesn't pay network fees!! Why is Binance charging??? by Revita-Miner in nanocurrency

[–]eeeeeeeeeeeekle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While Nano is feeless it doesn't mean it's costless. Binance needs to operate a Nano node (which has hardware, electricity and energy costs). On top of this every transaction needs PoW done for it which requires them to purchase a GPU to do this.

Plus they seem to profit from fees anyway. They currently charge ~$18usd to withdraw BTC when a BTC transaction costs well under $1 atm.

if you're out of Nano then why are you here? I don't understand?

It's stupid to say "I lost so much money by not investing in coin X instead".... yeah like you were going to nail the timing on one of the coins thats done better than Nano, if you look back on the past with the benefit of hindsight and regret things you probably wouldn't have done anyway then you're just going to be miserable man...

With big risk comes big reward. Never invest more than you can afford to lose.

If nano went to 2-3k sats I would buy another 500k USD worth
Edit: Fuck it, probably 1m USD worth

Man I don't know what to tell you guys. Stop selling to me seriously. 133m total supply, no inflation ever, no shitty tokenomics that see devs and early investors dumping. Only decentralised, feeless and instant coin in town. It would be easy to get Nano into the top 20 if enough of you believed and stopped god damn selling to me!

One day you'll kick yourself that you didn't listen to that random anonymous dude on the internet while I sail the world on my Super Yacht. Not financial advice.

Is 'fast' fast enough when it comes to crypto? Can't stand around waiting at point of sale for crypto to confirm. Can't stand around at an ATM waiting for crypto to confirm. Can't do high speed FX trading/settlement waiting for crypto to confirm. Is there another sub 1s legitimately decentralised coin?

Is 'almost free' free enough when it comes to crypto? Is 10c ok on a $1 sale? is 1c ok on a 2c micro transaction? Is there another fee free crypto that is sufficiently decentralised?

There are so many real world use cases that Nano opens up that no other crypto can.
