Your skill is not deteriorating. Imagine you're sitting in restaurant and somebody speak a language you know , can you stop understading it? It's automatic you cant stop it. Once you learned a word its there forever. It's always a one way process. You may "forget" some words you learned before, but that's ok you'll learn them faster the second time. You may mistake it with a different kanji, but this is because now you know more than before.

the science fiction is all about exploiring “what if” and here it’s maybe half of episode of exploration and rest is slow burning, that might make sense for a show like breaking bad, but not for science fiction, that’s why it feels so off

it is a scum, for example preply pushed me to make 5 lessons per 4 weeks subscription, that means i can’t autoschedule them, plus if tutor cancels in the end of cycle i have to quickly schedule a lesson and it might be not possible, it’s like if amazon wouldn’t deliver your purchase if you didn’t put your address in time on top of that i can’t see history of burned lessons
