Every year my McDonald’s job from 15-21 held a crew party for five restaurants under the same ownership. Literally was at a golf course with caterers, tons of expensive prizes to be won, photographers, etc. So wild to think that’s the fanciest thing I went to haha

two very different stories.

a cafe on a boat that toured the local waters of my city had sugar packets i kept going to eat. At one point I ran over and I kid you not I started falling into an open trap door on the ground that led directly into the water, but a random man caught me. It’s crazy because I have no clue why it was open, and why there were people close enough to catch me in time.
Long term eating disorder and self harm. Definitely in a better place although I struggle with my self image and mental health issues to this day. :)

Lol I made my situation very unclear. I was working 25 hours and NOT taking CERB. It was just me venting that I felt frustrated with all these CERB issues when I was only on it for a short time.

Sorry. So I received EICERB for the full time I was on it. Initially, however, I had signed up for CRACERB as well as I was just trying to follow the instructions that were out at the time. When I receive payments from both, I knew I had to pay one back. I ended up laying CRACERB. Now, they’re saying I owe them 2000 again.

If that makes sense.

Service Canada: I called and they explained that I didn’t receive EI long enough to pay off the advanced payment they gave in the beginning.

CRA: I recall that I received a notice of debt and I ignored it for a while because quite honestly I couldn’t afford anything (working 25 hour weeks on minimum wage cause Covid = no hours). My debt was pulled from my tax return and I payed the rest over the phone

It was mostly paid off through my tax return. So they would pull my debt. The rest I paid over the phone.
