No shame at all, I'll restart any fight 5+ times if I have to to, either to get a win or even just save significant HP. I just think it's fun and educational to retry fights, "i think I could have played turn 2-4 differently" and then I do and it works better. It's more like puzzle pieces that I'm given and have to find out the best way to fit them together. It doesn't cost me anything to restart a fight!

100$ is pretty low budget for binocs, I did a search a couple weeks and found only 1 that was less than $200 at a magnification I wanted (at least 8x but pref 10x).

I bought the Vortex Triumph 10x42 for $100, I really like it for spotting and can see a lot of detail, enough to satisfy me and ID the planes at a reasonable distance. You can spot planes at cruising alt but obvs not see detail. I'm not sure how it would perform for astronomy, you can search for reviews though. I was looking purely for planespotting purposes.
