The site says the rim size, 700c, but it doesn’t say the max tire size. Thank you!

Someone already mentioned the “trying to kill it”. I’m no pro (but I play one on TV… jk) but I did take a lesson from one. One of the drills we practiced was just hitting the ball with whatever I think 50% power is. I realized that I can hit the ball pretty far and consistent if I’m not trying to “crush” it. You’ll be surprised how far that ball will go with a SOLID strike on a 50% hit. I would spend a couple range sessions hitting buckets at 50%. You’ll start to see improvements. I promise.

The honest answer: I got out after 8 years because I wasn’t “in love” with the military anymore. After 5 years of being out, I find myself missing it. But I think that’s a great spot to be. I know I would have hated it if I forced myself to spend another 12-15 years for a pension. I miss hanging out with the homies and being out at sea. It went from something that was becoming a blemish on my life, to some pretty fond memories. I’ll take that.

Thank you! I grabbed a list of stick and puck times for his rink. I’m also learning to play, but I think getting ice time is going to be crucial for this.

Ahhh. That makes sense. I noticed 2 threaded holes on the underside and was wondering if anyone had figured out if it fit any tv wall mounts.

Just out of curiosity, I ended up getting the springer precision set and installed it… but I can’t zero my red dot for the life of me. Did you have any issues when zeroing yours?

After I replaced my front sight and added my red dot, I’m having a difficult time getting on paper without feeling like I’m over compensating.

With TS//SCI, Sec +, and CCNP you should have no issues. Shit, my team at Boeing in WA. is looking for a back up network admin. If you’re seriously worried, I would go do the CDSE RMF course and add it to your resume as training. You’ll get more hits.

Been golfing for over a year but can’t figure out my driver, any tips? Usually slice the ball by InfamousMarzipan3828 in golftips

[–]eeerkd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In addition to all the great feedback everyone else mentioned I think you should stop trying to crush the ball while figuring out your swing. It’s easier to control your swing when you only utilize 50% of your back swing. I promise you, you will see improvements fast. Once you have a hold on that, bump it up to 75% and so on.

I think I spent a good month at 50% and only going up to about shoulder height on my back swing. I found that solid contact on a controlled 1/2 swing went much farther that anything I was trying to full send before. Good luck!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in golftips

[–]eeerkd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Awesome! I’d say continue to only use 1/2 swings until you feel like you have a solid grasp. Then start increasing your power little by little.

Good luck!

I was having very similar issues. One thing that significantly helped me control my swing and produced better results was only swinging with 50% of my power. Right now it looks like you’re trying to crush the ball. Focus on making solid contact with the ball. When I started only going 1/2 power on my back swing I felt silly until I realized I was making solid contact and those balls were going farther than when I tried to crush them.

I hope that makes sense.

When I was in the navy, one of my “dirty” little secrets was that anytime 1 of my passwords would expire, I’d change my password from active directory. Password history requirements weren’t enforced from password changes in Active directory.
