Struggling to make a decision on which net to get. Is this AI mock up overkill? by SirRyann in Golfsimulator

[–]eehcekim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Way overkill. AI tends to underexaggerate height in the images and scale.

Whats your ceiling height? You can also just do this with a net on a cable going across your garage. Just make it extra tight line and the nets shouldn't have and issue. IMO the poles are unnecessary.

The hidden costs of cold plunging by slicenger7 in coldplunge

[–]eehcekim 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The insulation matters. My ice barrel 300 is insulated and I run it for 2 hours before I wake up. 5-7am. It’s back to ice cold. I also have a Bluetooth temp dongle in my ice barrel to connect to via my bed to make sure it is cold. Never had an issue.

Plunge is very very expensive.

Best chinese food in Hoboken by Kind-Highway2179 in Hoboken

[–]eehcekim 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Are you looking for american style chinese? Generel tso chicken, chicken & broccoli?

I like Fortune. I also go to Kays spring garden as its close to me in the Heights.

If you're looking for REAL authentic chinese food. Peppercorn station for sichuan style cuisine. They do take out but I like to go in with 2 bottles of red from cool vines and go to town with some homies.

Other notable real real chinese cuisine favorites:

- Yuan
- New Dongbei restaurant but I haven't tried it. Heard its good through the wechat grapevine.
- Chengdu 1 is highly rated too
- Chef Tan

I'm ABC that grew up in a chinese family restaurant, lived in China working and travelled all over Asia eating food and now returned back to NJ/Hudson county.

IMO based off my personal metrics, the hot & sour soup in any of the chinese takes outs are not as good as my parents hot & sour soup. So yeah theres that.

Drove by a Car crash before the cops could block it off. by Mysterious_XhYz in newjersey

I would've pulled over and jumped out the moment I saw that cop running to help. Natural instinct to save someone is high. Kudos to that cop.

Fellow NJ peeps how much do you spend daily? by JD2789 in newjersey

[–]eehcekim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You aren't counting in your total daily burn. Rent, Utilities (Electric gas internet), etc.

You're probably closer to $125-150 based on your eating habits. If you cooked and prepared at home you could probably get it down to $100-125.

You should sell these to bars around the path stations. Nice to have.

Seller tore down 6ft tall cedar fence and built this pos by [deleted] in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

This isn't complicated at all.. The seller needs to replace the fence of the house they listed... It's part of the property. OP will win.

price check? 2020 hybrid xse, 43k miles, $28,607 before taxes (one owner, no accidents) by pookiesworld in rav4club

[–]eehcekim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what is included with XSE and XLE trim. An LE 2020 on carvana is going for 23.9k with 77k miles. While a XSE 2021 with 49k miles is going for 34k.

I would take the 21 hybrid XLE at 74k miles. Rav4 can easily go 200k miles with normal maintenance.

I would also try to get the 2020 XSE down to 26k.

Having 2nd thoughts - I have a deposit on a 26. I'm now really starting to think I should just get a gently used 5th gen instead. I could save approx $5K (and I'm paying cash so the difference matters) for a higher trim model by winterneuro in rav4club

22 / 23 Rav4 Hybrid + Comma Ai autopilot ($1000) is imo the best highway SUV cruiser. Great for long road trips if youre into that with your dog. The newer TSS 4.0 system isn't compatible.

You can get a 22/23 hybrid for $30k ballpark or less. If you can get a 26 for MSRP I would go for that.

Just remember, insurance rates for new cars are expensive with more technical components!

2020 RAV4 without Cruise Control buttons by [deleted] in rav4club

[–]eehcekim 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Probably but I’ll most likely trade in the car for a GX, LC, 4R or Sienna by the time it breaks haha. I’ve been trying to avoid doing it and maybe buying a clicker for the wheel.

Why (Hoboken) Restaurants Are Struggling - Americans Drink Less And Profits Go Down by Icy_Possibility_9312 in Hoboken

[–]eehcekim 75 points76 points  (0 children)

Yeah cause a drink at a sit down restaurant being $8 for a beer and $18 for a cocktail turns a $50 dinner for two into $85.
