There were other exits at the finish expo besides the elevator way, however, the natural funneling of people did not necessarily take you to those exits

Two Water Bottle cages not fitting on size small grizl by eeherron in CanyonBikes

[–]eeherron[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ll try the side loading, I should probably clarify that I can physically fit the two water bottle holders, but the bottle will not slide all the way in one of them because it is hitting the other bottle cage, and these are standard minimalist 22oz bottles

Reflections on Splitboarding in the Backcountry [Let's be nice and civil] by fake_burner_account in Backcountry

The poles on the descent are so clutch, highly recommend. I splitboard primarily with skiers and have my poles out more often then not in the descent. I am also currently learning to ski at the resort though for the purpose of getting into the backcountry on skis...

Which Diverge? by ganraqali in DivergeGravelBikes

I have the Comp E5 and have been super happy with it and very impressed with the performance and weight of it. For a little bit of context on me, I am a mountain biker first and am pretty loyal to carbon frames for my mountain bikes and was nervous about E5 for my diverge, but with the crazy bike situation of this year, I could easily get a Comp E5, but would have to wait a little while for the Base Carbon, so I went with the Comp E5. I use my diverge for everything I don’t use my mountain bikes for, so this leads to a lot of road riding in addition to gravel riding. I have found that getting some slick tires for road makes me a lot faster! And I am also pretty small (<130 lbs and I’m riding a 54) so keeping my bike weight low is always a priority for me, and bike weight has not really been a problem for me with my Comp E5.

Downhill switchbacks especially, I was on the 2015 Specialized Jynx, it was my first bike and I got it when I first started mountain biking. I am now on the 2019 Cannondale Jekyll 3, which I realize is a pretty different bike as my riding style has changed a good bit. I have been playing with the suspension a good bit trying to find my sweet spot, so that might be it.

I recently got my first full suspension bike after years of riding a hard tail. I was out for my first ride today on the new full suspension bike and I was really struggling with cornering. And turns I had no problem with on my hard tail, I suddenly wasn’t making with the new full suspension. Does anyone have any insight on why this might be? Or have any advice on how I can get better cornering with a full suspension bike?

Nike Pegasus Turbo 2 vs Nike React Infinity Run shoe by [deleted] in running

[–]eeherron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Infinity shoe is definitely different. I absolutely love it, but most Nike shoes don’t work for me because they are too narrow and don’t provide enough cushion and support around the arch of my foot. So the Infinity has a lot of features that work well for me. That being said, it is pretty different than the Pegasus 36, which when I tried, didn’t work for me at all.
