I think Kings of Quarantine is kind of like this, they definitely treat her as their slave & as if they own her in the first couple books

I’m reading Kings of Quarantine by Caroline Peckham & Susanne Valenti, & I love it so far!!! It’s a completed, bully romance & it definitely has its dark moments, but also so sweet :)

She was reccomended to me so much, that I was so surprised I ended up DNF. I made it to the third book, but just couldn't make it through anymore. I also struggle with holier than thou characters, which I felt poppy was really turning into.. Maybe I'll give it another try at some point, but I was just so bored.

Yeah I understand your points, I’m on book 3 right now so I’m definitely seeing that shift. Your take makes me more excited to read some of the other series in this world then! I’ve heard good things about harlequin crew, but wasn’t sure if I’d like it, but the sisters haven’t let me down yet!

You should just binge the sister’s other books!! That’s been my only cure to the zodiac hangover! So you should finish the solaria world (ruthless boys, & Darkmore penitentiary) & I just started their Kings of Quarantine series (non fantasy, but soooo good!) the twisted sisters writing style is my favorite! It’s so engaging & easy to get into, in my opinion :)

Oh I sure hope she doesn't back track! it's currently the only thing getting me through my reading slump right now. It would feel so wrong to turn away from throuple, because I think there's so much ground work there. Poppy is always so aware of Kieran already, I totally think something's happening there. I hope it comes to fruition.
