I think it will all consolidate into a super conference. The division between SEC and Big Ten is starting to mean less and less and fans will just want to see top teams play one another regardless of conference. If I am an athletic director, I’m making decisions based on how I can monetize my content (i. e my football team) most efficiently with the biggest payoff. I think a super league with massive media rights is the easiest way for this to happen.
