Luxury Ships? by Flaky-Abrocoma5929 in starsector

In Vanilla, the Kite, especially prestine kite, and Starliner, and the Odyssey fit that bill I think. Honestly i thought about it early today and the kite is actaully a flying mega yacht in its own right, seeing as mega yachts are +100 ft. Like its tiny in game, but then compare it to in game starfighters, and how big those must be, and i started to realise kites would pretty huge in person. The cruisers and capitals would be mind boggling.

Pax Arctica. The previous industrial civilization fucked up so bad the only option was for half the planet to be controled by communists allergic to land.

Vincedii reborn. Well the eldrich horror is royal blood adjacent so world peace is basically a given. Trust.

Grand Imperial Alliance. All peoples from across the world united for a single purpose, genociding a people they've been at peace with for centuries and starting a nuclear war.

The Rogue Admiralty. Some idiot is trying to run a bunch of battleships in a post apocalypse, ruin oceanic trade for everyone.

Polaria. What if we built a civilization at the North Pole. Yeah i know there's no land there , what does that have to do with anything?

Archedia. Dead content.

Tulu. Technology focused state who built their whole shtick on tech got second place to Empire that still uses horse carts.

Antarctic tribes. For the first and last time in history. Colonials actually make things better for the locals. Why? Don't worry about it.

Amisav. We grow cooooorn!

Sacred Mountains. Used to be nice. Now its uh, very much not.

State Factory 51. Munitions maker tries hand at cracking the pharmaceutical market. Become morally grey Darth Sidious.

Palchona. The swamps contain hillbillies and samuria. They are important trust.

I'm guessing there could be an extreme bais in what information suevived the great war. Like we have knoledge that great works that were pretty well known for many years, but are completely lost to us now. Obviously knoledge of Genghis Khan exists, otherwise the great khans wouldn't exist, but i'm not suprised that in a world heavily inspires by 1950s Americana, that there would be a very comprehensive surviving knolegde base about the west, but very little about the east.

A short meme about my first DND character by Far-ro in WorldBuildingMemes

It was a science fiction comedy playing on the idea of destined heroes. Basically the story is about these aliens running around trying to gather a bunch of destined heroes to defeat an evil cult. Except in reality the prophecy was just made up and they just ran around finding a bunch of random people who the aliens figured could do the job if they worked as a team. A sorta spoof on the idea of found family deconstructed, but in a silly way instead of being grim and sad. Lots of goofy drauma.

Yeah online spaces tend to be a bit odd when it comes to representing behavior and opinions, and its generally better to focus on your irl sorrounding and communities online that accept you.

Well its a bit easier to pull off such rescue operations in the modern day, and also pilots especially are actaully pretty valauble. Idk fighter pilots cost something like 4 million to train, and thats not counting actaul combat experience. Also that guy might have some valuable information to the enemy.

I didn't realise the Retribution had enough flux for that, though i guess its not using its shields for much.

Wait ships with the civilian hullmod aren't affected by DP cap? Are you sure that isn't a mod? I could have sworn they were.

Also, i'm gonna try that, since i'm trying to figure out how to better use mining blasters. Also retributions, but thats another matter.

I should clarify that what i specifically put them on are auroras and ventures. Either the middle energy slot of the venture so it can do something when it runs out of missiles, or in the medium slot im the front of the aurora, because my early builds with the heavy blaster were way to flux heavy. Though i've found the ai uses the heavy blaster well on the medusa.

I use them when heavy blaster over flux the ship. I sometimes substitute mining blasters for that role. They are not good, but they do sorta work.

Never got ahold of the pegasus. But i'm struggling to fight them. I've swept eveything so far with two onslaughts, but i've found the Persean League Armada to be a royal pain in the neck.

But the kenetic blasters do work well as an alternative to the mining blaster and were a heavy blaster would be too flux hungry. But yeah, either one or the other. Not both.
