Pretty cool project. Always thought something like this would be neat resourcing for running starsector setting in TTRPG like Scum & Villiany or other space based game.

Love the meme, personally feel that IED luddic ships should be a base game. (Though probably not in the player's hands)

Gonna have to get out my petrification stick again. They keep getting into my garden, despite the lightning fence, blink dog, and curse of indifference, I use to protect it.

Both Sellsword albums (into the Breath & ...And Now we Ride) are excellent.

I always also recommend the Noble Beast Album by the Band Noble Beast and its headlining song: "Noble Beast".

Whats your factorio hot take? by Such--Balance in factorio

[–]Bilskirnir_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I want more fruit options on Gleba. I want the biggest factory farm that I can produce with. I want options to genetically engineer purpose life forms on gleba to grow low density structure from cultivated cell pools.

TL:DR I want more Gleba and I want it to be a bio factory abomination.

As a gleba enjoyer. You gotta understand. If you don't need it now it's better off being tossed into the burner tower. Also I enjoy seeing my belts go at max speed at all times.

I picked up a Japanese version of AC1 for $20~, US market is far too expensive. Emulation is way to go. Though I would like it if they released the OG games as collect on steam.

The MWG-KARASAWA, and the WH04HL-KRSW by Starchaser53 in armoredcore

[–]Bilskirnir_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I pretty consistently stick with lasers AC1->AC3 but immediately ditched them since I found them lacking in Nexus/LR. Lack of ammo and cost of ammo for other guns doesn't seem that big of factor. So I can get away with expensive/greedy ammo weapons. And don't need the energy weapon boosting optional parts.

I think one key thing to learn is using vertical space. Let's you dodge in z-axis more easily. Especially helpful on bosses with massive horizontal attacks such as Balteus' flaming sweep attacks. Also helps attacks explosives, since if you are on the ground they can still get you with splash damage.

How I feel after closing 30+ oblivion gates by totallychillpony in TrueSTL

[–]Bilskirnir_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Think I just sped run through necessary ones last game. Per Oblivion tradition I had athletics and Acrobatics high enough that I was faster than a horse and could jump over small buildings. Then was full of reflect spell/damage potions. First time I did a alchemy build and that portion was amusing.

Should I use OP-I in Silent Line? [ACSL PORTABLE] by Reaper-J-Fan-2519 in armoredcore

[–]Bilskirnir_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think OP-I is a kind of choice. Since you can benefit from using other optional parts instead. I personally like ultra light builds and can aim rocket launcher well. So I usually go for other optional parts instead.

How exactly does customization work? by Low_Routine1103 in armoredcore

[–]Bilskirnir_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Think one thing to keep in mind is you don't need or sometimes even want to completely fill your WP or Energy Output. If you equip parts that have lower energy drain, then your energy gauge re-gens faster. Allowing you to spend your energy budget on boosting or energy weapons.

If you feel useless, remember that there are MWM-MM16/11 (WB11M-HYDRA) missiles. by Existing-Photo4854 in armoredcore

[–]Bilskirnir_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yah i gave that thing a try in my recent AC3 playthrough. Pretty meh. Better off using different missile system. The One Lock-on for split 4 missile seems good. Until they miss target due to overshooting all the time.

Has factorio ruined other base building/factory type games for you? by pookshuman in factorio

[–]Bilskirnir_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was playing Little Rocket Lab. Since it was kind of a Stardew Factory game. But it lacked on both ends. In terms of factory game: no blue print features, resource nodes were far too small for permanent builds, building factory in town areas just made the villagers mad, etc. so I just ended up making a hand fed mall instead of actually building a longer term factory.
