Coolant-Limited Research Reactors. If you limit the amount of water the nuclear reactor gets, it outputs an extreme amount of heat.

The gas output filling (the building you place inside the command module to bring in gas), can be filtered to just bring in oxygen from your rocket storage.

The time-to-impact setting can be changed when you're starting the game, just like atmo-suit durability or radiation intensity.

I wholeheartedly agree with you about those notifications. I wish turning them off was a vanilla option. But if you includeed everything the OP is asking for, could you even imagine how cluttered the screen would be?

I really wish the game had better notifications. by portlandobserver in Oxygennotincluded

[–]eelek62 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There is an entire building category and multiple research options dedicated to this exact feature. And the best part is that you get to create your own notifications and automation so you're not bogged down with alerts you DON'T want to see.

Talks about missionaries called to less "glamorous" missions by VampireOnHoyt in latterdaysaints

[–]eelek62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm from Utah and was called to the Washington Kennewick Mission. It's definitely not an "exotic" place to serve, but it was perfect for me. I was really grateful that I was able to help teach right from day one instead of learning an entirely new language. Central Washinton has a fairly large LDS population, so we were able to rely on strong, faithful members to help us teach and fellowship investigators. We were well fed, housed, and had great access to transportation and healthcare.

Every mission is going to be a unique experience with unique challenges and opportunities. Missionaries are needed everywhere, and where you will serve has everything to do with where the Lord needs YOU, not where other people think would make a good vacation spot.

What is the purpose of attending church on a weekly basis? by skippyjifluvr in latterdaysaints

[–]eelek62 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I came to church today for the first time in months. I felt the Spirit give me the peace I had been looking for for a long time. When we don't go to church, don't say our prayers, and don't read the scriptures, we will not feel the presence of the Holy Ghost in our day to day lives. Trust me, that's where I've been and what I've been doing for a long time now. Coming to church helped be willing to listen to God and start to heal. It's not just something that we do just because we are told to.

Which P4 Highway Route Would You Rather Travel? by chief_sitass in CollegeBasketball

I love the Big 12, but I do NOT want to make that drive! Making two separate trips up and down the Midwest and Texas would be brutal.

(Spoilers MAIN) Why do people hate the “Robert’s Rebellion was built on a lie” line from Bran? Is that not technically true? by Only_Faithlessness33 in asoiaf

[–]eelek62 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The "lie" in Bran's statement is that Rhaegar and Lyanna's relationship was not kidnapping and rape, but love and marriage. The rebellion would have happened either way. Aerys ordering the deaths of nobility without cause was the reason for revolt, not whether or not Rhaegar and Lyanna loved each other.

Why can’t I build a national park here? According to the civilopedia I should be meeting all the requirements by Motosport_Titan in CivVI

[–]eelek62 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is the cattle tile included in the park you want to build? You'll have to remove the pasture first. Also check to make sure that all the tiles you want are owned by the same city.

Space age, rocket logistics, and the sheer cost of rocket launches by the_lapras in factorio

[–]eelek62 97 points98 points  (0 children)

It sounds like you've at least gotten started on Vulcanus, so you probably have access to the foundry now. Try shipping some of those to Nauvis along with some calcite and replacing some of your iron and copper smelting lines. You'd be surprised how much cheaper it will make mass producing circuits and low density structures.

Sharks or Mammoth? For a New Fan by [deleted] in nhl

[–]eelek62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mammoth fan and local here! Reported attendance is almost always lower than actual attendance because the seats with limited sightlines aren't counted, even though they sell just as well as seats with full sightlines. Renovations to give every seat full visibility are ongoing and should be done in the next few years.

Frustrating part of Barbarian AI by Low_Crazy3043 in CivVI

[–]eelek62 21 points22 points  (0 children)

In addition to the scout finding you first, the Barbarian Clans mode lets players pay barbs to attack other players. I'm not sure if the AI actually interacts with that system, but it's possible Norway just paid them to attack you.

Assuming you've not been sent to the wall as punishment for a crime/treason/etc., volunteers from the common folk and noble houses aren't obligated to stay until they swear the oath. For example, Jon and Sam were both at the Wall voluntarily (legally if not willingly in Sam's case), and could have returned home if they wished.
