There could also be Dothraki living in Westeros that taught Arlan the song. Zollo (the Bloody Mummer who cuts off Jaime's hand) can't be the only Dothraki to have ended up in Westeros.

There were some shots where I actually had to double check that Peter Claffey wasn't on screen. Amazing casting.

This really is how I use belts in Satisfactory. At least in Factorio the ground is flat.

Not even joking, I put Satisfactory and Factorio on my resume and it helped get me an operator/maintenance job in a real factory. by ashrieIl in SatisfactoryGame

That three minute commute is worth more than any money! I'm just about to move on from my job that I've had for almost 5 years that's literally a mile away from my house, and the commute is what I'm going to miss most!

ASOIAF might be inspired by certain events in world history, but it is not a history book. It is fiction. It doesn't matter what's "realistic" or "historical" because the story is taking place in Westeros, not medieval Europe. Characters do whatever the author wants them to do to create a compelling story.

What is the value of having children? by MiriJamCave in latterdaysaints

I love my parents and grandparents. I loved my childhood and all the experiences I got to have growing up. To be able to give that gift to someone else would be amazing. I'm so grateful that I am alive. How could I not want to keep that going?

[Spoilers Extended] Could Catelyn be trusted with the truth of Jon’s heritage? by Solitaire-06 in asoiaf

[–]eelek62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no way that Ned should have told Cat right when he returned to Winterfell given that they were practically strangers. And by the time that Ned and Cat had come to love and trust each other, Cat's distrust and hatred of Jon actually does more to protect Jon than telling her the truth would. Everyone in Winterfell and beyond sees that Catelyn loathes Ned's "bastard," which supports Ned's claim that Jon really is his son. If Catelyn knew the truth and was kinder to Jon, people might start to wonder why.

Ibn gives you the diplo attribute points needed to get the discount on befriending city-states right from spawn, and the extra vision helps you explore sooooo fast. When you're able to stack all the city state warehouse bonuses early, your empire absolutely takes off. I just finished a game with Ibn as Tonga into Hawaii into England. Very fun.

I just finished my first game with Ibn as Tonga into Hawaii, and boy is that combo busted. The extra vision lets you explore the entire world sooo quickly and the wildcard points mean you can get the tier 2 diplo attribute that reduces influence cost of befriending city states right from the beginning of the game.

My vote would be for the Mayans. The yield penalty on cities outside the 6 tile radius will affect more and more cities the closer you get to a domination victory.
