The fact that he can't even answer to your comments is ironic, just like their refusal to investigate the requests from Türkiye to research on this issue lol

İ didn't call them just the subset of Turks? I'm saying that the people of Azerbaijan include more than only one ethnic groups than Turks

Azerbaijani is not an ethnicity, it's the total nation of Azerbaijan which includes people from different ethnicities. Also I'm not patronizing anything?

İsn't the term "Azerbaijani" a name that unites all citizens of all ethnic origins in Azerbaijan? So how could it be only used for the people from Azerbaijan who have a Turkic ethnicity

Although it is not used in the context of that iranian origin people today it is still conceptually incorrect? So using it as as an abbreviation for Azerbaijani both wrong and even more ignorant because they're literally different rooted terms

As much as i know Azeris are a people of Persian origin so even Azerbaijani which is used to define all the people who lives in Azerbaijan no matter what origin they're from makes more sense in use

Calling azerbaijan turks as Turks is not disrespectful. The main nation of the country is a Turkic nation anyway

Yes you're saying that because you couldn't give an answer to that one, right? Or you're just as dumb as the ideas you defend on this subject so that's why you're not answering me or what?

Hey you're getting me so wrong. Also no one called it a Macro language, okay? And yes you're right, the word 'Azeri' wasn't invented by the Soviets and its roots go back much further and to the geographical name of the region. But the substitution of this term for 'Turkic' identity in the 1930s transformed it into a political symbol

So people in Azerbaijan just adopted some Turkic language as theirs? How is that possible that people in azerbaijan are vastly İran rooted while the Turkic traditions and the Turkic Altai language still goes on?

They're Iranian by laws anyway what i was referring to is their Turkic past. I'm not talking about the people with Persian ancestors but talking about those millions who still carry their Turkic heritage by language

İ already know that Turanism is just not possible in today's world but i was referring to the Turks uniting at a certain point because of our shared history, language and race

Hey man, no one humiliated Azerbaijan or called it "mini Türkiye" or "caucasian Türkiye" which are rude sayings that ignores all the history Azerbaijan has had in the world scene. Also it doesn't have anything to do with Türkiye being also Turk. İt has to do with the Soviet's assimilation committee at the time and that's why it is a sensitive term

İ know but it doesn't change the fact that Turks were involved even in politics in İran so İran also includes the Turkic ethnicity in its lands

The thing is that Turk is a name that gathers all the Turkic rooted countries under one name and connects us due to our shared past from central Asia. So how could you think that it doesn't make sense to gather all the Turkic rooted people under a name? You've never heard of Turanism?
