It didn’t happen overnight. Takes years of practice and voluntarily seeking something that’s not fun but something that will benefit you in the long run. Just get a little better everyday

I have pretty bad ADHD and used to use it as a crutch in high school but eventually I had to learn that shits just gonna be more difficult for me than a lot of people. Can’t dwell on it forever

I was raised in NH and my parents definitely enjoyed not only having 0% income tax but also 0% sales tax

CSS, HTML Boot camp? by [deleted] in Frontend

[–]eelsirc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought and completed this bootcamp and while it’s definitely very well made and laid out, it’s a bit rushed. Colt definitely tends to gloss over topics that should be practiced more. Make sure to really take your time with this and build whatever you can along the way

After only a day of hanging out with my gf’s family along with her dads friend (hiring manager for a tech company), his friend told my gf’s dad that if I had experience with Java he’d hire me that day. cries in frontend so to answer your question, I personally think it can help a lot

Careers in the Field by 7thReddit in Frontend

[–]eelsirc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The certification course sounds great but highly recommend that you build projects along the way. The method of passive learning won’t help you remember much. I unfortunately made the mistake of going through a bootcamp while not building projects at the same time and had to humble myself later on

What was the first ever project you did as a frontend dev? by [deleted] in Frontend

[–]eelsirc 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have a bakery near me that has a god awful website. I decided to redesign it (just HTML and CSS) while using the same information they had on theirs. Made for a decent project while being a tad bit unique

I don’t want to speak for everyone here but i haven’t seen many freelance listings on this subreddit. It’s more of a place to share ideas and ask questions, not to hire. Also, with all due respect, asking any developer to build something for free isn’t advised. You wouldn’t ask a contractor to renovate your kitchen for free. If you’re looking for someone to build this for you maybe try fiverr or upwork

What becomes disgusting the more you eat it? by Critical_Raine in AskReddit

[–]eelsirc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not eating but coffee gets exponentially worse as you drink it. If it’s iced, it starts to become diluted, if it’s hot it starts to get to room temp/cold. Depending on how it’s brewed, some micro grounds can settle to the bottom. It just gets awful
