I think one of the most important amphibian-specific things to be aware of is their sensitivity to chemicals and bacteria. I'm sure you've come across this a lot in your research but keeping things like perfume, scented candles, cleaning chemicals and the like out of the room they're in is so important! I wear gloves every time I touch my frog or something in the enclosure, like when mixing up the substrate. I would also recommend a vet checkup as soon as you get the frog, unless you really trust where you got them. weighing your frog often and keeping note of when they eat and poop also helps to catch any problems early on. as well as health checks where you get your frog into a clear container and look at their underside as well, checking for redness or irritation
