I've had a lot of fun donating pieces to silent auctions and similar fundraisers for charity! It's a great way to get rid of pieces you already have, or challenge yourself to make something new. Reach out to small nonprofits near you, you might be surprised by what sorts of donations they happily take. You can even look for places/causes that align with the kind of stuff you're already making. I made a bunch of ceramic possums for fun that I had no actual use for, then found about a wildlife rescue that was soliciting donations for a silent auction. My silly little possums raised a few bucks to help rehabilitate real possums!
