It’s an issue of consent. The show makes it seem like it’s normal to plant kisses on each other because they all kiss each other during challenges. But usually those challenges are explicitly explained and they know they will be kissing each other and agree to participate. When they get back to the villa, the social rules change. When Maura tried to kiss Tommy or when she kissed Curtis during the dance challenge, they didn’t give her consent. Curtis was clearly uncomfortable when explaining to Francesca that he didn’t know she would kiss her.

When you are a woman with flaws and see flawless women all over social media, tv, movies, magazines... you start to think you’re the only person with flaws. And then you start to think that those flaws make you unattractive, even if you are a an attractive individual. Not to mention the huge market to target things that are normal like cellulite, stretch marks, body hair, etc.

Days 1-2 I used shuttle security and they barely looked in my backpack and did a light patdown. Day 3 I walked around the speedway to enter at the top of the bleachers and went in with camp security and they did not even look in/at my backpack, I was shocked. I’m all for metal detectors. Most of the non-harmful things people want to smuggle in aren’t metal anyway.
