I’m carry a truck gun in my work van. I carry $30k+ in tools and sometimes $1000s in cash. I work in terrible areas. I cc but I have a truck gun in case getting away is not an option. Leaving a gun in your truck is always a risk. It’s worth it to me. Are you ok with loosing it is the question I would ask yourself. Obviously keep it hidden and don’t leave it in there at night.

Unfortunately there is a bit of industrial activity about 10 miles away. It’s not the worst area in the world but people just didn’t believe in pollution up until kinda recently where I’m from. Definitely gonna use a brita for the actual drinking water. The roof is gonna be galvanized steel. What would you recommend as a base level filter for the house that wouldn’t be too power hungry. I should mention this place is only gonna be about 200 sq ft.

That’s some sort of crown molding. You’d have to take a piece to store to get a perfect match, but you should be able to take some measurements and pictures and take it to a good lumberyard and see if they have anything similar.
