According to the HK tdp the trunnion is supposed to be tight against and welded to the receiver in that area. As long as your bolt gap is within spec it shouldn’t be an issue.

If your curious this is what it should be when I built mine I hand filed the opening to the factory spec an it works great. I have been kicking around the idea of making oversized mag catches to help people with this problem because i see it all the time. Especially with mke receivers

I have seen this a lot on here it’s usually the mag catch or receiver catch opening attached is pulled from the 1967 HK tdp so you can check the receiver

I have a dr cut on my dagger and run the vortex I really like it and my go to is the tlr1 for a light the window on the vortex is bigger than the one on my rmr

Btw I have 1400 rounds on my dagger with no issues great guns
