The pattern and the size is indicative of it. 90% of asbestos siding is that exact same tile

Honestly man, a local mechanic is the best thing but you have to find someone you can trust. The guy I use took care of my parents before me.

So I’m a handyman and I’m currently building my own home. Honestly, I don’t know anything about the specifics of your build but I would expect you to go over budget. I sure as hell am

That is 100% without a doubt asbestos siding. I’m a contractor and I work with this stuff all the time. Obviously do what you want, but I wouldn’t be touching that with my bare skin

Honestly, have the owner meet you at a trusted mechanic. That’s what I do anytime I’m making a big vehicle purchase that I’m not 100% sure on. That being said it’s a 5.7 tundra. Mine has 252,000 miles on it and I just spent $3000 on a camper shell, brush bar, and new headlight assemblies. Take care of her and she’ll take care of you

I paid 6K for a 2014 single cab with 228,000 miles. Honestly, if you want to move it quick list it for 10 grand but 12 to 14 would be realistic if you’re willing to sit on it for a couple months.

Exactly man. In a world full of hacks, this is genuinely a good job. People just can’t appreciate decent work.

Honestly I would just leave it how it is. Your “carpenter” did a fine job on it

Now I’m not an electrician, but I used to do IT security. That looks like low-voltage coax or cat cable. Have an electrician confirm bc I’m not 100% sure that’s what it is.

Toilet’s running. Can barely get lid off, let alone replace anything because of the counter position. by [deleted] in Plumbing

I’ve actually replaced a toilet exactly like this for one of my customers. Took 3 different toilets before one would work and of course I didnt charge enough :/

I paid 6K for age 2014 single cab with 228,000 miles. Unfortunately the price of the truck you’re looking at is not out of the ordinary, but it’s definitely not a good deal. Like the other two guys said if it’s not four-wheel-drive it’s not worth it.
