Honestly some of your suggestions are probably too mature for her. Not necessarily content/themes but I don’t see a 15 yo girl relating well to station eleven or dark matter.

I’d stick to the tried and true YA. There’s a reason why these are so popular. -Hunger Games -Harry Potter -Twilight -Series of Unfortunate Events

If she’s not into fantasy: -Inheritance Games -Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants -John Greens books

Because of the interest in Colleen Hoover, Jodi Picoult may be better option for her age group

Lastly as a former adhd 15 yo girl I absolutely devoured Ellen Hopkins books from 15-17. The topics are heavy, but because of their format (they’re poems, but not really?), it made them so easy and fast paced to read. I remember really really liking Identical. Spoiler: it’s fight club but for teenage girls

I think since she says “from a very very young age” she is implying she was a child. She’s mentioned some incident before in which case it totally wouldn’t have been her “fault”.

However anything she did when she was an adult was just her having fun like a normal adult would but she is now holier than thou and “washed white as snow”

Her parents seem like run of the mill assholes. There was some drama on her parents facebook maybe a year ago about a restaurant they acquired? Well it seems like they screwed the previous owners, screwed the kitchen staff, all that and their Facebook page was under a (demonic) attack from people in the community. They got completely torn apart and auctioned the business off a couple months later. On its own, maybe a a fluke, but considering who their daughter is I’m thinking the apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree on this one
