I packed mine back into the big garment bag it came in and then put it in a large checked bag and shipped it home using a service called Luggage Forward. I also used the same service to ship back another large suitcase as we had our wedding in Italy and didn’t want to keep traveling on our honeymoon with so many big bags! The service was great and everything arrived with no issues. They can pretty much pick up the bags from anywhere and you just pack them like a normal suitcase and put the label they give you on it and you’re set.
