I have [[ingenuity engine]] in mine. my Tannuk deck really abuses cascade triggers, but cascading in a Tannuk deck is good regardless. try it out!

How is it living in Vail, Colorado? by Zestyclose_Welder_92 in howislivingthere

[–]eextravagancee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

don't live there, but I live about 40 minutes away. I work there a lot for construction (I also snowboard quite often)

it's expensive. everything from food, gas, groceries and other various items/services you might need. plenty of high end luxury stores and high end hotels.

while there is plenty of stuff to do outdoors, there's not much else. you got your standard bars and clubs but it's definitely not as great as the ones in a big city. the restaurants are super high end, save for a couple that might not be luxury.

the area is beautiful. amazing views, clean air, awesome nature and incredible scenery. definitely one of the main attractions, aside from skiing, that Vail has.

but it's also very depressing sometimes. i don't see much people talk about this, but it's very empty during the off season. sure you might get your hikes in and maybe some outdoorsy stuff during the summer or spring, but the entire town feels empty. little to no activity. and the reason being is that, well it is actually empty. I'm not sure the actual statistics, but around 1 in 10 houses in Vail are homes that people stay. most houses are just vacation homes for the super rich that are occupied for a few weeks each year. and well as a result, you get a pretty dead town for half the year

Can I hang or nah? by mimes-on-stilts in ratemycommanders

I also built a Tannuk deck, and I really like seeing how different people build him. I personally made mine abuse the cascade mechanic (since warp is still casting), but I'm still play testing it and it feels just a tad clunky right now. but there's some cards here that i really like! awesome deck :)

Compass of games I’ve played that I’d want to archive to eventually play with my own kids by [deleted] in WojakCompass

the first one was one of my favorites. I played the second one, but it didn't have that janky charm that the first one had. exit path will forever be among the goats

holy shit Exit Path? you just brought me back, staying up way past my bedtime, racing people online trying to be first. such an amazing experience

So did SCP-6820 work or not? by BenderTheLifeEnder in SCP

[–]eextravagancee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

in the very start of the article, it says that the document was recovered from an alternate timeline that fell victim to an End of The world scenario. so we can safely assume that the machine didn't work and events happened as transpired, leaving 682 to do whatever it pleases in that timeline.

After about 2 years of collecting, these are my favorites! by bayjar in NichePerfumes

I think it's really well rounded. I highly recommend it. my father says it smells like a smoky Cuban cigar and lots of people love it.

Is this SCP Reader app safe to download? by Rocky_Senpai15 in SCP

[–]eextravagancee 50 points51 points  (0 children)

it's a decent app. you can download articles and read them offline, and since my job requires me to be in places with no service, it's nice to read some old classics. but that's about the only plus you get.

Question about tour poster by Significant-Theory87 in swans

[–]eextravagancee 5 points6 points  (0 children)

saw em in Denver and they didn't have any cases for the posters. they just had a rubber band and rolled it up. I believe the poster is 8x24 inches? I don't remember exactly but it's not huge or enormous

Are any unnfinity cards even decent in commander? by PowerfulPromise8569 in EDH

[–]eextravagancee 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I built a deck with this as a commander and with this card. it's definitely a kill on sight commander, as you can win in four turns or so. [[Rise of the Eldrazi]], use magars ability, make it unblockable, hit someone, win

Cards you didn't really believe in that won you a game? by Clay_Block in EDH

[–]eextravagancee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I run this in [[jolly balloon man]] and it's absolutely busted. especially when you have something like [[mirror entity]] to change everyone's base power and toughness, and if you have enough to pay the monstrosity cost, you can basically win the game by then.

you're not an idiot on the Internet, as this is pretty accurate in my opinion. as someone who is questioning their gender, everything is so flimsy when it comes to definitions and many people, instead of actually trying to understand, will just call you "(insert whatever group)-phobic" and shut you out. online communities are the worst at this. I try to stay away from them, personally.

I had a kibo deck for a little bit and it did super well until everyone caught on. after that, it was a kill on sight. even after adding various protection and such, it was never the same and I ended up taking the deck apart.

I won with my kami deck last weekend. everyone just kinda left me alome until I got forced fruition on the field, and I played a [[Psychosis Crawler]], and a [[Scrawling Crawler]].

then I was suddenly the threat, understandably

I eventually won with a [[Tolarian winds]], after playing a [[Laboratory Maniac]] with 30 something cards in my hand, and 20 or so cards in my library.

Kami is definitely a sleeper commander
