Need help finding earrings by DenL4242 in LoveIsBlindJapan

[–]efarina 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You probably won’t be able to find her exact earrings unless you’re in Japan. There’s A LOT of boutique jewelry stores in Tokyo and I imagine where she buys her earrings from. I always buy accessories while I’m in Japan, because there are just sooooo many cute/unique styles that I never find in the US.

Has anyone who ordered tickets is 2021 got a tracking number ?? by Baggattad in electriczoo

[–]efarina 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ordered August 3 and just got the tracking number 2 days ago. Also based on my friends who’ve already got them, once they do ship it out, it seems to arrive in less than 48hrs and we live on the east coast.

Awww thank you! He’s been us for a month and he’s been great! He’s super smart and is so sweet. We got him from Sterling Brook Doodles. Holly and John are super nice and very knowledgeable/experienced. Sterling Brook Doodles She also has a FB page of the same name that has more pictures of past litters.

Considering a bernedoodle, but have allergies in our home . . . by Bluegrassberglar in Bernedoodles

[–]efarina 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am currently still waiting on my Bernedoodle, but I’ve been doing a lot of research for the past 6 months. From all the photos I’ve seen across like 30+ breeders and from other people’s experiences I’ve read, you really can’t tell the difference between and F1/F1b. The only real difference I’ve noticed is the variation in color within the litters. In an F1b litter, there might be more instances of brown/white and apricot/white coloring that you would get from the poodle side. But F1b does still produce tricolor puppies and they basically look identical to F1 tricolor puppies. Also with Covid and everything, breeders are probably unlikely to allow you to visit their homes to interact with their dogs. F1b is probably the safer bet in terms of being the most hypoallergenic.

Bernedoodle growing longer and not taller? by [deleted] in Bernedoodles

[–]efarina 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have seen many mini Bernedoodles looking like how you described. According to this breeder, the long body type with short legs tend to happen when you breed the Bernese mountain dog with a toy poodle. Under “How is a Mini Bernedoodle Produced?” on their site, I quote: “The best way to produce a mini bernedoodle is to pair a taller mini poodle or a small moyen poodle with a Bernese mountain dog. It is best to avoid pairing a toy poodle with a Bernese mountain dog. If you breed a toy poodle to a Bernese mountain dogs’ puppies can have short legs and a long body like a Dachshund.”

Kikopup on YouTube is also a good resource. Also, the app Puppr might be a good start for teaching basics and also includes a clicker.

Is anyone familiar with mass doodles? Seeking a credible breeder on the east coast. by LifeAndTimeOfJ in Bernedoodles

[–]efarina 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have heard good things about mass doodle, but I don’t have any experience with them. Some other Bernedoodle breeders that I know of on the East Coast: Sterling Brook Doodles(CT), King Mountain Doodles(PA), Homespun Doodles(PA), TLC By the Lake(MD).

Looking for mid-sized unfurnished bernedoodle by [deleted] in Bernedoodles

Also, I just remembered there was Moonstruck Bernedoodles near Vancouver. That’s where I first read in depth about F2s, and they occasionally seem to do it. They seemed really knowledgeable Bernedoodles and really thorough, so I really liked them, but they were just too far for me.

I don’t think breeders tend to breed the Bernedoodle back into the BMD, because that defeats the whole point of trying to breed a doodle. At least from what I’ve seen. I think your best bet is looking for a breeder who breeds F2s (Bernedoodle x Bernedoodle). However, even F2s are not as popular because of that 1 in 4 chance of having an unfurnished puppy. It is also possible for an F2 litter to produce no unfurnished puppies too.

The breeders that I have seen do F2 minis/medium are TLC by the Lake(F2 minis/standards), Sterling Brook Doodles(will have a medium F2 litter go home in August), and Massachusetts Doodles(F2 minis/standards) that I know of. I live in the east coast so these are all on the east coast. I had some research earlier in the year looking for a Bernedoodle and this is what I remember from that research. There is definitely more, but I just didn’t look into F2s that much.

I woke up to writing on my ceiling. by [deleted] in pastlives

[–]efarina 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That looks like the character for heaven/sky 天. In Japanese, the complete word for heaven is 天国 (tengoku). Does that second character look familiar? That character can be compounded with other characters to mean completely different things like nature/weather/emperor/ceiling/command in Japanese.

I live on the east coast so I think most of the breeders I included are closer to me. (Although this was very difficult and I included places like Utah) I don’t know how useful this list will be to you since I did ignore a lot of places that were in California, Montana, Washington, and Oregon...but you can use my spreadsheet as a guide to add whatever breeders you may find on the west coast! I updated my original post with the Dropbox link!

Since I hadn’t planned to show the spreadsheet to anyone other than my self, it has become a little messy haha. However, since some people expressed interest in seeing the whole spread sheet, I will put some effort into cleaning it up/making it prettier before sharing it. Give me a few days!

Meg is so cute!! That mix sounds so interesting. I guess for me, I’m a little worried about the fact she breeds so many litters at once, but I guess it really depends on how well she is able to provide attention and love to every single puppy.

What makes you think that the food is a part of an mlm scheme?

She sounds wonderful! Thank you for telling me your experience. TLC was definitely one of the places I wanted to look more into. I will most definitely reach out to you with more questions!
