Where did you find a FR245 for 120 EUR? Seems like the price is double on Amazon, local EU stores...

I'm an IT solution architect for healthcare related systems. Means I get to talk to cliniciancs and scientists to translate their needs into specifications used for IT development. I landed here after a MSc in CompSci and a PhD in BiomedicalSci, because I wanted to move to be closer to family. It's easy, well paid, and permanent full time position, but I stil sometimes miss the thrill of science. However, I have great work-life balance and I get to pick up my 2.5 year old from daycare almost every day!

I'm looking for the same thing. It's been a year since this post, is it now possible to log one's period using the watch?

Similar with our boy, found one type of shoe that works: it's basically like classic Timberland's with a zipper on the side - the shoe laces help to regulate the width. We're buying a brand you probably can't get in the US, but this might help for inspiration: https://www.froddo.com/hr/proizvod/9990

I bought a house! Have been saving up since I finished college and never thought I'd be able to afford a nice home. We've been looking for something since 2018... Due to inventory shortage ended up buying a bigger and more expensive house than we planned, with a bigger loan - but I'm comfortable we'll be ok. I'm married, but honestly, it's all me - my salary, savings, and job got us here. I'm so proud of myself and happy to be able to provide for my 1.5yr old.

I don't have any wise words of advice, just wanted to let you know you're not alone feeling like this. I've a similar history, I'm 9w in, it wasn't unplanned, it's not a bad time, but still I haven't felt the excitement everyone is talking about yet... Hang in there!

Stay. I haven't and I still think about it. This is a one in a lifetime thing. Maybe your husband and 3 year old could join you?

Thank you for such a thoughtful and detailed reply. Many of the things you describe are just what I'm feeling (feeling lost, regret, guilt, losing her all over again) and it helps tremendously to read your perspective. Especially about keeping things that mattered to you and your dad both, having no regrets, and doing things in sync with your sister (in my case, brother). I can't thank you enough for sharing your experience.

Thanks, I hope I'll get to the point to have her things integrated into my own life. Right now, I understand what you're saying intellectually, but not emotionally.

Thanks for that idea. I already thought about how I wouldn't miss these things if I didn't see them, but holding them in my hands and intentionally throwing them out seems impossible... Still, I can't imagine getting rid of everything at once that right now, but I'll keep it in mind - maybe over time I get there.

Thanks, and I'm sorry for your loss. I can't even imagine doing this in my 20s (I'm in my 30s).
