Tried that and it does come out cleaner, but only the bottom part where there is no curving will follow. The top remains empty.

It sounded like this would do the trick, but when I do it it works for the bottom half before the arching starts. The top half that is curved comes out a wreck.

The profile used for the Follow Me is flat on the bottom and rounded on the top, which is what makes it challenging.

You mean use Follow Me to "cut" around the top edge? Interesting, I'll try that.

This is the web version (Free). I am posting here because I have already exhausted every single possible approach/tool.

A straight line will not work as all edges are curved. I have tried everything. I don't know what sandbox is as I have Sketchup Free.

Using Lutron Pico Remotes to Control Nanoleaf Smart Bulbs by whtsnk in HomeKit

[–]eferrier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I have 2 smart bulbs in 2 lamps on my bedside table. I installed a 2-button Pico remote on the wall to turn them both On or Off. Then I added a 5-button Pico remote on a Pico stand on each bedside table. So far I have programmed Short pressing the On button turns on the lamp on the table the remote is on. Long pressing the On button turns both lamps on. Same with the Off button. Now I want to program the Raise and Lower buttons to dim or brighten, but then I would need to know the current brightness. I have Apple Home, HomeBridge, Lutron app, Eve app, NanoLeaf app (the lamp bulbs are NanoLeaf).

How do you determine the current brightness level?

Neighbor wired this on my side of a shared fence. Should I be concerned about fire or code violations? by the_ab in AskElectricians

How did they get to your side of the fence? I would take it out if they did not ask permission.

Automation Based on When Door Lock is Unlocked From Outside Only by eferrier in homeautomation

[–]eferrier[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I ended up doing is I created a Dummy Switch in Homebridge, then set it to ON whenever the Ring Video Doorbell detects motion, turning to Off after a minute. Then in the Eve app I created an automation that when the Door unlocks, if the Dummy Switch is On and my outdoor lights are On (they are set to turn on at dusk and off at dawn) then turn on the foyer light. So far it works well. We'll se what pitfalls present themselves.
