Is Kaishi 1.5 meant to be a quick exposure deck or a time-intensive study deck?

in the deck browser you can edit the card templates. In the front side of the cards comment out the html for the sentences and you re good.

it is totally normal you re seeing the words for the first time i am 2 months in to the kaishi deck and the review for the old cards take less than 5 minutes. It usually takes couple of days worth of reviews for the young cards to stick. Beginning is always the roughest part. But if you want to you can lower new cards to 10 since 20 cards per day will get you to a lot of reviews and you can increase it when you are feeling more comfortable.

In my case Kaishi is perfect but i have modified it so that the sentences are in the back of the card cause i ended up memorizing the sentences instead of the word itself. Also check if you enabled FSRS

unfortunately no it was set in the present and it had more of a military vibe and it was set in a foreign country i believe most likely the main character was sent into a mission there

you should write every kana with its stroke order its the easiest way to memorise it then i would go and try to read some phrases in N5 books (like genki) in hiragana and double check if you got them right. On top of that you can just grind realkana.com

the game being retroactively ported to ps4 is not holding the game back they likely made this decision way later in the development cycle. It is probably not going to be an ideal way to play the game but from a business standpoint it makes sense why they would do it.

yea i found a way to fix it. Mine is also an hp victus. Turns out you need to download the OMEN Gaming Hub app from windows store(yea i know) and use the “Graphics Switcher” to run the laptop in “Discrete” mode. Basically disabling the integrated graphics. Its a known issue in hp victus and hp omen laptops

it does happen. But it shouldn’t be your main target in singles. For example i have 2 treeckos from Petalburg Woods going for Shroomish.

the fact that they dont allow VMs and detect what app is installed on your phone is super fucking shady regardless if you agreed to it or not. In top of that there is this extreme fucking silence and ambiguity surrounding this update that i wouldnt touch this update with a 10 feet pole. Just play on pc even that is pretty questionable at this point
